iJustine's Mac Pro unboxing. That one is a prefect example of "so bad that it's good".I'm trying to imagine when the last time some of you guys smiled was.

Customer: What about some cheddar then?Customer: How about a little red Leicester?
Wenslydale: I'm, afraid we're fresh out of red Leicester, sir.
One would be forgiven for thinking iFixit was clubbing baby seals.
So why are you laughing? So unnecessary. People are obsessed with saying it looks like a cheese grater. It’s not even funny Lol.
Seriously sir. [Some citizens in this thread are being super serious about a seriously super silly situation. Sadly.] ←(say that 3x fast) My man up the page actually claimed: "iFixit is about offering a service to people in the form of repair guides, access to parts, etc. There's a certain amount of gravitas that should go along with that." Gravitas? iFixit?!?! A DIY shop... gravitas. Tee hee. Faux-outrage makes people say crazy things.I dunno. I guess it's different for everyone. I'd simply call it being a little goofy and feeling/expressing a little joy. And not giving two trucks what others think. LIfe's much to short to take everything seriously.
It's so expensive that they couldn't even afford a desk.
I spent three minutes trying to get the audio to work. (The video starts silent.)
But a low repair-ability score on AirPods? This is foolish and annoying. The sealed case and soldering is inherent nature of the product.
I just think iFixit have an anti-Apple agenda which is both philosophical and driven by revenue and page views.
After that cheese grating stunt you know that this was these people's first and last ever video for ifixitactually grating cheese on the mac pro is such a weird flex. really unnecessary.

Since I haven’t seen the video I can’t comment on how funny it is (to me), but apparently it’s hit or miss. If it’s not funny to someone, I wouldn’t necessarily ascribe it to them being too serious, rather it’s probably just not their kind of humor.I dunno. I guess it's different for everyone. I'd simply call it being a little goofy and feeling/expressing a little joy. And not giving two trucks what others think. LIfe's much to short to take everything seriously.
Don’t bet on it lol. Their boss and/or management may well have thought it was hilarious 🤣After that cheese grating stunt you know that this was these people's first and last ever video for ifixit
an even better question: who doesn't edit that out? This has high school production quality written all over it. Who doesn't do a sound check before producing a video?!
Really getting sick of the cheese grater jokes. Dumb. Stupid. Not funny. Nope.
Interestingly, to me anyway lol, Jobs never said “you’re holding it wrong”. He actually said “just avoid holding it in that way”.TBH I hate jokes that are incredibly overused. It was barely funny 5 years ago and it’s really not funny now.
If I ran this site I would ban anyone that says anything followed by ‘it wrong.” We get it, Steve Jobs said ”You’re holding it wrong“ in an email about the iPhone 4 antenna bands but you should probably try to come up with something original.

If you think MacRumors is a haven for trolls, then you clearly haven't been to many other sites on the internet...MacRumors has been a haven for trolls for years now and as the OP here demonstrates it is officially sanctioned by the owners.
My gold standard for a well run tech website is ArsTechnica. If you think MacRumors is a haven for trolls, then you clearly haven't been to many other sites on the internet...
Welcome to MacRumors, once an enthusiast community, now the anti-Apple reality distortion bubble.
