I think it's a little bit narrower/smaller than that no?I don't know if it's me or not but it's definitely going to take some time to get adjusted. The "i" shape pill hole is more noticeable from the notch. Just stare at it for 30 seconds without moving your eyes away. You will see. However, change is good.

Can someone explain how this pill and hole punch is an improvement over the notch?
I compare it to having a notch and it feels like this is wasting more screen space; the screen area above and between the pill and hole is useless; why not just move the whole thing up and make it a notch? The notch can be narrower and thinner too if you're not having to put part of the display in and above it.
I just don't understand the point of this design decision.

But its an "i" phone, get it? They are literally putting the "i" on the front of the iPhone.

I buy Apple products for their quality design, now they look like generic android

That's just what the signal looks like with dual sims installed. Mine looks like that now.
They should have named the event "An i To The Future"

Rest assured, the majority of the people will be up and pre-ordering the iPhone, and those who don't will probably head down to the store on Friday to pick it up. Happens every year.

The funny thing is Apple will clearly ignore the fact it looks like an "i" tho. They won't admit it. They will come up with rich and fancy marketing words, such as "Innovation", "Courage" "Rethink', Tremendous. Tim Cook's favorite words, Incredible and Extraordinary.

Why do the status bar icons keep moving farther away from the edge of the screen. The 13 series ones are lower on the screen than the 12, and now the 14 icons appear to be even lower than the 13. By all means, waste more screen space.
And who in the hell thought this asymmetrical eyesore was a good idea? If you have to go this route, just make a longer, symmetrical pill. Jesus.
