Somehow I doubt this. Unless you use your iPod in some kind of vacuum-sealed chamber, I'm quite sure that at least one of your iPod models has hundreds of hairline scratches, which aren't deep and nearly invisible to the naked eye. There is not a single scratch on any of my six iPods. Maybe you should take care of your possessions.
As to the photos? NOT SHOPPED. There is still the potential for them to be custom fakes, but being real is looking more and more likely.

like what? Theres nothing much they can do. they have computers, they have a cell phone, they have a music player.
A digital camera/camcorder? may be, bjut there are far more advnaced models with features apple may think "suck" or "arnt cool enough"
a HD-TV? na, we got enough models.
So whats next?
Surely this device will also house a digital compass. Combined with the camera you are all set to use argmentet reality...
Am i way of?
Edit. Well if there is WLAN...
Surely? No. Hopefully? Yes.
I have been trying to guess if the GPS and compass will be in the new Touch, too. My heart says yes, my mind says no. I think Apple will try to keep iPhone "special". I also think the battery life on the Touch with a GPS would be worse than one without, which will look like a downgrade from 2Gen to 3Gen. I think 2009 will be the year of the Touch camera, maybe the event will be "Get Snapping" or "Seems Snappier". Then we might see GPS in 2010...?
I hope I am wrong, and I will buy a new Touch for Xmas regardless.![]()

hey, how do you get the circled/boxed "S" in your signature?
I notice 2 things here that seem to add to the authenticity.
1. Apple's prototypes always seem to have red circuit boards, look at the prototype MacBook Air.
2. Apple doesn't put their logo or name on prototypes, as was the case with iPhones and the first iPod Touch's.
