There seems to be an issue with some 13-16 year olds thinking they know everything

Uh ? I never said anything about the validity or not of the shots. I just said to not go screaming fake too quickly, else you might look like a fool. Don't assume that this is a polarised argument and because I don't agree with you that I automatically think the opposite of what you're saying is real.
You've been telling people to be open minded while you yourself have not shown such openness. I'll reiterate, keep an open mind.

Not to mention I'm in my 30s, so I don't know where he's getting this kid thing from. Makes him sound immature more than anything else.

Having just left a job working closely with Apple, I can say, from talks with executives at one of Apple's regional departments, this is true.
I don't know whether these exact pictures are correct or not, but the iPod touches are getting cameras.

my bet is: data projector on top, just like in other recent devices.

They are trying to go the route of the Flip (video/mino/etc) cameras, i.e. making video stuff fun and easy, but still high quality. so expect to see the video and speed of the 3GS in the touch.
The Nano will also get a camera.
There will probably be features (definitely on the touch and maybe the Nano) for uploading direct to MobileMe or Youtube etc.
Unfortunately I don't know the MP of the cameras, but I suspect it will be around 2-3MP, but that is just my guess.
Apple is not stupid. They will quickly capture a huge portion of the market that wants an iPhone but can't get one for one reason or another. That is a huge market. I own a touch now and will buy a new one especially if it adds features. Some people don't need full time data. I'm happy to get mail and listen to streaming audio when I have wifi.
The rest of the time I listen to my music or podcasts. Of apples iPhone marketshare has peaked then it's a perfect time to put a gateway device in the hands of the rest of the market. Until the next version of the iPhone is released and users can expect to renew their contracts.

Well, Apple already has my credit card number. As long as they don't go around selling my e-mail address and snooping around my files on MobileMe, I really don't care about what else they know about me. It isn't like my location's a big secret, either, or what Apps I've downloaded.
I wouldn't be surprised if it does offer video. I think if Apple can use as many as the same parts between iPod Touch and iPhone, the lower their margins become. The 2nd gen iPod Touch is already pretty powerful compared to the iPhone 3G, so I would guess they'll increase the power slightly to come in line with the current iPhone, giving it enough horsepower to handle video.
That will be true if this touch is real. I won't be upgrading if its real. might keep the 2ed gen touch or go with Zune.

I doubt I will get an iPhone at any point. At least as long as they are with AT&T. Many reasons behind it but mostly because I work for Sprint.
If they add a camera then I will be one of the first people to buy one. Well, that is if they don't announce the Tablet in September
The Zune HD's screen looks fantastic, but unfortunately I don't watch many videos. Seeing as the Touch is now competing with the Zune HD and the DSi (which has a camera), there's no reason to hold back.
As far as these pictures and videos go, I would love to see Target explain the Chinese cases, video of the prototype touch with camera, blank back, and red board, and numerous other case designs all consistent with each other. Though there are some obvious fakes, they're just because the people making them don't have the product, forcing them to fake it just to stay consistent with other case designs and screenshots.
I understand Target's idea of open-mindedness, but after taking in all this information, for and against this rumor, the evidence seems to point unilaterally in one direction.
