Interesting. I paid in full with a Apple Pay but was charged instantly when making the order. Wonder why some take a few days to come through.

I paid with Apple Pay and was charged on Wallet, but that charge never showed on the card. Just today I saw the pending charge on my CC when everyone was charged.

I used Apple Pay and was charged about an hour ago. Didn't see any charges earlier this evening. Then checked again when others posted that they were charged.

I have an in-store pickup for Friday at 10-10:30 am. Card was just charged for the tax on the phone. Purchased with AUP renewal. I expect the first payment to be charged Friday.

I have Verizon. I'm not the account owner, but I am an account manager. I have all the same accesses that the owner has. Will I be good to pick up my phone without the account owner being with me?
Is the iPhone to upgrade or replace a line on an existing wireless account?
An iPhone upgrade or replacement on an existing wireless service contract can be picked up by the primary account holder or by a person authorized by the account holder. Please contact your carrier to verify authorized users. You should be good:)

mine was a carrier installment plan and my card was charged about an hour ago.

Ya as I was posting that mine was charged too..

Full pay or carrier upgrade. And which carrier you have I think is how they do there billing. Can’t do millions all at once.

Yes, you should be good to go! The only exception would be if you're adding a line to the plan, which only the primary account holder can do. But if you're just upgrading an existing line, you're all good to pick up your phone as an account manager!

I'm on the same boat but no, it has to be the account owner to pick up the phone.
I ordered through Apple.com

I’ll get more excited when I see some order status changes.

Authorized transaction on my CC today here in Toronto, Canada. I think Apple will fully charge the amount when I pick up my iPhone X this Friday at 8am. So excited.

Can you come in earlier than your selected time slot?

Anyone know?
I’d imagine they would let you pick it up any time of the day, but the pickup times help with the organized chaos known as the Apple Store on a launch day.

Assuming your shipment is waiting in the store, they can probably accommodate you earlier or later. Of course, this is all to your Apple store’s discretion.

I got notified too, except mine was that my CC provider declined it (as possibly fraudulent), so I have to call and get it cleared up. Apple says they will keep trying for 1 week and then cancel the order. Now to call...

Update: All cleared up and charge has hit my card for Friday pickup!

This happened to mine too. Charged and the pickup up window stayed the same, but I’m very nervous haha.

Paid with a apple store gift card and the balance was reflected today for me as well! Now it just needs to be Friday!

My CC will show a charge with a delay of 1 businessday. So, i think if anything would have ran wrong, we’d know it by now.

I believe that we instore pickups are the safest to get our iPhones on the 3rd, because we don’t have any dhl, fedex, ups and hermes in between that can fail our delivery. I had several problems with them in the past, so I will choose instore pickup in the future. It’s much less stressful, then waiting all day, not knowing if anything went wrong or anyone failed.
