In Store Today?

5th abe

5th ave just said they put them on display but they have none for sale. If i was to guess I assume they have some but won't put them out till 10am or so tomorrow just because. Its crazy 3-4 weeks now..

Same. My hope is they have them for tomorrow's release. I am going to try Tysons tomorrow at 10am, then Reston and Fair Oaks. Please take my $2,200!!!!

I'm pretty confident that most stores will have some to sell in the morning, just get there on time and you should be fine.

I honestly wouldnt order one online, unless you live nowhere near an apple store.

Problem is not all of us can camp out at a store in the morning...not to mention its a crap shoot as to who will have em. I have to do some volunteer work till noonish myself. My only saving grace might be that I expect to pick up the 512gb model so it may not sell as fast (unlikely)
 
I called all 5 Minnesota stores today multiple times and the only store that had them was Uptown. Of course by the time I made it down to Minneapolis, they sold out. I'll be here until Sunday so I'm going to call each of them when they open until I find a store with one. Now that the wait on them for shipping has been upped to 3-4 weeks I don't even care anymore at this point.

I agree, if you didn't order when it said a few days, just call the store each day until they say they have them. I can almost guarantee you'll have something faster by waiting to get it in the store. It says 3-4 weeks now. I'm pretty sure the store will have plenty in stock before then. Also, call the store at 9 (an hour before they open) that's what my store told me to do.

I was there this morning and they said they didn't have any. But I called them later and said that they were selling them so I don't know if theyll have them.

They aren't that hot of an item like iPhones or iPads where everyone will be flocking to get one at $600. These are priced at $2200. My friend works at my local apple store and he said they got 20, and they're expecting more shipments. Give it a week and they'll have more than enough to accommodate consumer demand.

I think we should all stop worrying. I really think they'll have plenty in store tomorrow. If you can be there when they open, do it.

I don't know haha. Just trying to stay positive because I want this thing just as much as you guys do. I feel like when they made the announcement at WWDC that they were shipping "today" (yesterday now), that they were REALLY SHIPPING THEN. You have to give it time to get from China...that's a long way away haha.
