Thanks for the update. They are kinda far for me. When would you suggesting going if I was looking for a 2.6/8/512 rMBP?

I would like to see Apple offer bonus points for purchases from their website that could be used as discounts towards future purchases.

Many thanks for this tip! All the BBs and Apple Stores near Philadelphia were sold out, so I called Wilmington BB to confirm that they had stock and they did! Made the 45 minute trek out from Philly and walked out with a base model!

I was able to get the $100 student discount (manager would not price match Apple's $200) and I completely forgot but there's NO SALES TAX in Delaware! My total came to $2250 with 1 year of BB accident protection and $40 in Reward Zone points. Great deal if you ask me! :)

Hi, did you check that stock checking site given on these forums before you called them? If u did what was the status? Thanks!

For anyone in NYC, i got mine this past friday @ the BB in Rego Park. Seems BB is doing a much better job than Apple, just call and give them the SKU# and they'll tell you if they have it or not, and what stores around them might have it.

You guys have got to be kidding me... this store is right down the street from me and the 2 days I stop calling they get some!! Do either of you know how many they got?
 
Been doing the Best Buy status check today and they got some in. Rushed over to Fairlakes, VA store which they had signs on the front door that they had the RMBP in stock. Happily went in and got my base model!!!

Two of the apple stores in DFW have the 2.6 in stock today.
 
Amazon.com currently have stock of the Base Line and the higher model.

That is where I will be buying from when I go on vacation to the USA in August. I love Amazon :D

Got a call from Apple Store's Business line in Huntington, NY; said they're not going to be getting this model in stock at all. Just the two base models. Likely online-only for the 2.7's =/
