I just received my Incase slider today. Overall I really like it. However, there seems to be some play between the case and the phone on the left side (the side with the buttons.) When I squeeze the phone between my fingers, there is a noticeable snap on that side. I took the phone out of the case and it looks like the groove is cut differently on the left side than the right. Is this normal or do I have a defective case?

I feel that too! Annoys the hell out of me!

Same thing with my case...sooo annoying!

The groove should be different on the button side. This is to allow extra room for....the buttons as you slide the phone in and out. :)

That being said, I have not noticed any extra play in my case on either side.

Also, I wanted to say that I have the SGP ex crystal shield on the front of my phone. Had a couple very tiny bubbles first time I slid the phone in, but removed the phone and replaced it in the case more carefully and no bubbles now at all.

I want to try this case too, but I'm concerned about bubbling my screen protector like a lot of people in this thread. I had it on my 3Gs, but returned it because of the bubbling. It fit really well, but didn't seem to work well with a screen protector. I have the Power Support Screen protector and love it......so I'm on the fence about getting this case.

Yeah, I realized after looking at it again that the different groove was for the buttons. However, the clicking noise is still there. It clicks every time I pick up the phone. It's going back.

Alright guys, this is my fourth iPhone 4 case (I'll probably do a 4 case review soon) but anyways... I love this case!!! But I will be returning it. 2 Reasons 1. The buttons are incredibly uncomfortable to get too. I can't overlook this. To click the volume up and down it leaves marks on the tip of my thumb, 2. Little bits of all sorts of things get caught under the front part of the case. This will require removing the case every three days more or less to clean out just to prevent scratches. Out of all the cases I've had I'm going to say The Body Glove Vibe is the most underrated untalked about and probably the best slider/overall case in my opinion. Hope this helps someone.

Im using the Incase Slider with Power Support Anti-Glare and it's not compatible with each other. The Screen protector has bubbles.

Funny, I have the same setup and no problems here. It's really up to how you applied the protector I think.

I purchased a SGP Oleophobic screen protector and from lining it up with the case on, it looks like there's no way that this is going to fit without it bubbling up. But others have said that they use it with their slider without any issues. Is my case just tighter then others, or is lining it up with the case on a bad way to judge if it will bubble or not?

You won't be able to line it up with the case on. There wil l be some overlap no matter how you line them up. But, I am also using an SGP screen protector and have no issues at all with bubbling. My thought with the PS people is that likely the PS ones are thicker maybe and therefore causing more of a problem with this case. That is just a guess though.

I just got my Slider and have an SGP with a cheap EBay back protector. When I first put on the slider the front bubbled up in a few places. I removed the back and slid the Slider back on slowly pushing the back of the case against the phone and now I only have one very tiny peel up spot in the upper left hand corner. I'm pretty OCD about these things but this didn't bug me. I'm gonna hold off on saying for sure if I'll keep it, but if doesn't bubble any more I probably will.

Took my case off today to clean the phone, noticed quite a few scratches on the right side antenna. They definitely were not there before I put the case on....:(

*Scratches were on the phone, not the case*

I picked up the Slider tonight right after I received my iPhone. The case is well designed and feels really solid. My only gripe is just how much of a finger print magnet it is. There are marks all over the case and I have only had it for six hours. I haven't even put the phone in my pocket yet.
Is anyone having similar issues with their Slider?

I've centered the home button cutouts as well as the receiver and front camera cutouts. I also cleared both the case as well as the screen protector with dusts. I even exchanged the cases at Best Buy. I guess I got faulty cases twice. Too bad since my last iPhone had the same setup (Slider + PS Anti-Glare) and there was no bubbles..

This concerns me a great deal because my last Incase scratched the F. of my 3G. How bad were the scratches? pics please? why do you think it got scratched? Was it the dust and stuff that gets under the front of the case?

I'm guessing the case is too tight on the sides to allow for some sort of wrap (be it lucky labs, IS, etc.)?

No. The black one is matte so it doesn't show fingerprints unless your hands are greasy for some reason.

It was far more difficult to capture the scratches on camera than I thought. This was the only one I could get to show up. Not sure how they came to be.
