It won't be that easy at all once you get the phone inside of there.

So the idea of being able to dock this phone on an Apple iPhone 4 dock is not really reasonable? I.e. I have an iphone dock on my night stand where I dock my 3GS and use it as my wake-up alarm. However, my 3GS just has a PS film and no other case. I was considering the incase slider so that i could remove the bottom portion and dock the phone, but it doesn't look like that would be possible, correct?

You can definitely remove the bottom to dock. That's what purpose of it so that you can dock. I was just advising the previous poster that it's not a simple pull to remove the bottom.

just got a front and back film today from power support and it works fine with my slider..one small bubble if i try and slide on the case too quickly, but by doing it a little slowly, it works.

I'm absolutely loving my slider. The feel of it is great, almost velvety. It does attract some fingerprints, but the wipe away fairly easily. It adds a nice feel to the phone, and makes it easier to grip. I've been very careful when sliding it off and have cleaned it twice so far. As a loyal Incase customer, I can say this slider is better than all my previous ones. The fit, feel, shape, looks, EVERYTHING. Get this case if you haven't already!

Well I've now tried the case with 3 different types of protectors and the case bubbles them all. Looks like the case is going back which is quite disappointing since I do like it

just received my mauve incase slider. it looks awesome!

Wow! That was fast. I ordered one the day they became available and it's still in CA :) Do you love it so far? The mauve is a little darker than I had thought, and I suppose I should get a boring black for work, but it's pretty!

Meh, gonna finally send my slider back. Even though I did not really have major bubbling at all initially with my screen shield, I did seem to get them to pop up every now and then as time went on. I reaplied the screen protector several times to get the overlap of the case on the screen protector better. Although this would help a bit, it would still bubble. So now it will go back. If I did not need a screen protector on, the case would be perfect. No dice though for me.

Is this glossy or matte? Might get this for the wife.

the material is the soft touch matte like feel, exactly like the black slider for iphone 4. but it has a different shiny finish. at some angles its shiny and other angles its very dull.

its kind of hard to explain, this is my first time seeing this type of paint/material. but its definitely not glossy.

personally i prefer the glossy feel of the white incase sliders

yeah i totally love it. its not a lot nicer than i expected to be honest..

i got it very fast because i live 10 minutes away from the warehouse. so ordered monday, shipped tuesday, delivered today :D

I got my slider this past weekend and I love it. The only thing I'm not sure of is the flash ring. If I take a picture of something fairly close it looks okay. If I take a picture of a room with nohing for the flash to bounce off of it looks really hazy. Is this normal?

x2. If you have the slider with a holster which holster do you have? Thanks!

I carry mine in the Joseph Abboud smartphone holstler. Also, Target carries a case made my Case Logic that will fit it perfectly. Lastly, take a look at the Eddie Bauer case that Best Buy carries as it should fit.

I've been using a Waterfield Suede Jacket and it works well. Plus, it pretty much cleans the screen every time you take the phone out or put it back. It's not a holster but I prefer it that way since I needed something that would protect the screen and go into my pocket easily

first up i must preface this by saying that i am a die hard incase fan: i own their ipad case, slider case for ipod touch, bags et al

got my incase slider for iphone 4 last night AND my iphone as well and it was a absolute nightmare.

i applied a powersupport film on the back and a sgp oleo on the front

1) as soon as i put it in, the bubbling was horendous. and i have to say, i thought i aligned the screen protectors perfectly.

2) THE WORST PART: THE PHONE GOT STUCK when i tried to remove it to reapply the films.

have spent the better part of last night trying to literally pry the phone out of the case. i think you can imagine what that feels like with a brand new phone.

this has been an extremely disappointing experience and i am very nearly going to cry.

with reference to my previous post, a word of advice:

do not apply any screen protector on the back of your phone if you are going to use this case!

you will regret it. please dont do it.

Insiderrtrading,
Sorry to hear that! I hope you got your phone out safely. I was working on the reviews that showed it was possible. It would be nice for InCase to weigh in on this issue.

Same thing happened to me. When I installed my Incase I had a PS rear crystal protector on as well as the front. It was really really hard to get it off. I was able to, to then take the rear PS off. I eventually had to take the front off as it bubbled.
