+1 Received mine as well. Does not hinder the flash in any way. It's a nice case but it adds more bulk than I thought. I guess it feels more pronounced than the one for my ipod touch because of the sharp edges.

BTW, is the finish on the back a bit rough for anyone else that has one? There's little tiny bumps of the soft touch matte surface on the back of mine. It's a bit annoying because it feels like I have sand on my case.
 
Is the black matte case a nice dark black color? Or is it a light colored black.. (dark dark grey). Can't tell from the photos because of the flash from the camera..

Maybe a dark dark dark grey up close? From 2 feet away or so the black isn't much lighter than the front of the iphone.

BTW, my screen protector bubbles at the front camera too. Just can't get it to stick around there. After using this case for a bit, it just makes the phone feel bulky in my hand after using it naked since launch day :(
 
The package that you guys received in the mail, was it a soft package or a hard box? My mail box is kind of small and was hoping it was small enough or comes in a soft package. Thanks!

Small (9x12") white padded envelope in the mailbox.

i know this sounds ghetto but it's cause of the flash reflecting off the plastic, if you take the phone off your case and use a black permanent marker on that bevel it will darken it out so it won't reflect off of it anymore and will work fine
 
I got mine today too. I'm only a few minutes from their headquarters, yes it took 4 days to get here. Kinda frustrated that they said shipped and gave me a tracking number on Monday but didn't actually put it in the mail until Wednesday, but whatever.

Is anyone else's camera/flash hole not aligned with the camera/flash? The hole in the case is slightly lower then it's supposed to be.
 
yo. finally got my feather in today! its nice! however, the screen protectors suck ballz, they bend/fold/crack easily, had issues installing twice ( and i'm pretty good at installing screen protectors and skins). Anyways, check out my corny unboxing/review video:

Thanks for the vid. Gave me a better idea of what it looks like. Ordered mine yesterday, can't wait.. Yes, it's minimal protection but considering I was only going to use the wrapsol film as my only protection, this is an upgrade.
 
I just got the case and love it. However, the flash definitely is impacted, although not as much as other cases. It definitely isn't the best protector, but for those wanting a lightweight case with some protection, this is a good choice.

Thanks for the pics! I'm glad you actually posted the pics for a side by side comparison. While not dramtic, it's there. The flash impact is about the same as the iFrogz case that I bought at BB, though I could do without the "cheese grater" sides as they have been called.
 
Thanks for the pics. It seems like all of these cases affect the flash. Looks like case manufacturers will have to redesign their cases.
 
Did any of you guys use the transparent shield that comes with the feather? Is it any good? Any problems applying it?

My feather should arrive today, looking forward to getting some protection on my phone.

Read the thread. Couple people including myself commented on it. Basically it sucks. The cut is okay but it bubbles around the camera hole. I also see a visible rainbow effect at an angle. Basically going to throw it away once the Power Support protector comes out.

Yep the Incipio feather + Powersupport shield is an excellent combo. Well worth the $

just got mine today, the case fits tightly and snaps onto the steel band so front screen is unprotected. i like the feel and fit, but the camera hole for the back is a little misaligned which is really annoying but luckily it doesn't seem to affect the camera or flash. and the screen protectors do totally suck.
 
Agreed, got home and tried them out, the screen protectors are garbage. I couldn't get them on without major bubbling. Case is great, though.

Got mine today as well (ordered Wednesday night at 11pm from amazon so shipping was lightning fast!)

The case looks great except for the camera/flash cutout in the back. The hole in the case is cut a little low so the top part of the hole in the case is slightly touching the upper metal circle of the lens and metal rim of the led flash. I tried taking some photos with and without flash but didn't really notice anything so hopefully its okay. Mainly taking pictures outside anyway..

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE WHO OWNS ONE.

How do you easily take this case off? I tried taking it off on the left edge where the volume buttons are. The case snaps on the metal edge pretty tight and it seems I have to pry the case to get it off. I managed to scratch part of the case when taking it off. Fortunately, I just wiped it with my fingers and it looks new again. But I don't want to damage/scratch the phone each time I take this case off (to wipe off the extra dust and stuff).
