I really like the Frequency, Dual Pro Shine not so much. Dual Pro a bit too thick IMO. Frequency is great, love the fit, doesn't add much bulk at all. Highly recommended.

I'll throw in another thumbs-up for the Frequency. May just be the perfect case that balances style and protection.

Yes, I have also come to the same conclusion.

This week I have tried the NGP, feather, Frequency and the Otterbox Commuter, and loads of other cases from Speck, Gear 4 and cheap OEM'S.

The Frequency is the hands down winner, it's also the best looking case IMO (although I do like the 'tactical' look of the Otterbox).

Is there any difference between the NGP and the Frequency other than the pattern on the back and side? Thanks!

Another thumbs up for the frequency case. Picked it up from Rshack of all places. One of the thinnest cases I've seen that still wraps the edges - which is what i was looking for. Ironically dropped my phone the first night i put it on from about waist high - no issues at all - was on my hardwood floor so no nicks or anything thankfully.

Only thing I'm not crazy about is the response from the sleep/wake button but I've yet to see a case that offered perfect feel. The volume buttons click just like it had no case at all and the rocker switch is nice and recessed so its not easy to accidentally hit.

Anyone have some pictures of the Frequency in comparison to say the Speck Candyshell or a thin snap on case. Just trying to get a better idea of thickness of the case.

do these things make your phone cruddy?

i had one of the antennagate cases for my 4S that my wife gave to me and it made the phone dirty

From what have seen here and elsewhere, the NGP seems less refined and has unfinished edges from the mold. The frequency is perfect.

I have 3 cases and the Incipio frequency case is by far the best one. I have a case crown case that is very slim (its a copy of the Incipio feather case) but I don't like that it doesn't cover the top and the bottom of the bezel. I didn't worry about it on the 4/4s but with how easy the 5 scuffs I want full coverage. If I can find a thinner one that covers as much as the frequency case then I will get it but so far this is the best one I have found. It was expensive at AT&T but Walmart had them for 20. The black one looks really good on the black 5.

I, too, ordered the DualPro, it arrives next week! I chose it over the Commuter due to some reviews about the pressure needed on the power button and the slipperiness, we'll see how this case fares.

I've had a chance to try the Feather Shine, Kickstand, and Frequency.

Feather Shine:
Very light and slim as expected. A very good looking case. The metallic back feels like plastic. There was a also a little jiggle room. It doesn't fit as snug as the frequency or kickstand. Protection is a factor. There is no lip so no front drop protection.

Kickstand:
NGP on the inside and hard plastic shell on the outside. It's similar to the DualPro but you can't separate the two. A plus is the kickstand. I unfortunately do not like the plastic. It scratches and feels cheap in my hand.

Frequency:
NGP all around. It's light and gives good protection all around. But out of the three I tried it's the least attractive. I'm not a fan of the design on the back.

Based on looks alone the Feather Shine is the most attractive. But if I had to choose one it would probably be the Frequency. I can live with the stupid design on the back and it doesn't have that cheap plastic feel of the kickstand.

Wow, see what you mean from the photos a page or so ago. My NGP does not look like that. Perhaps they had a little learning curve . . .

Hm sucks that the NGP isn't as similar to the Frequency as some of you said, I stuck with the NGP and still like it but it could be a bit better finish/color black.

I just didn't want the added design/logo on it, seemed like the little pocket cutouts for the 'frequency' wave design would clog up and catch dust/lint, plus costs more so I didn't bother.

When I first saw photos of the frequency I actually thought it has holes in the back. But actually they are very shallow, just a texture. In fact the pattern on the Speck pixelskin HD pattern is deeper. The frequency patern won't pick up any dirt/dust.

Another thumbs up for the Frequency :) it's the perfect case for me. I was considering a Candyshell for a while, but since everyone and their mothers has one around here, it was easy to see that it was too bulky for my tastes.

I picked up mine from Walmart :) 20 bucks, in case anyone was wondering :p

Well I now have the frequency and the NGP. I will be sticking with the Frequency. My NGP didn't seem to have the mold issues but the fit was slightly off and the sleep/wake button was very hard to press. I kinda like the pattern and it does wonders for grip. Off to return to NGP.

i also noticed this and actually took a razor blade and cut just along on the inside of the so its easier to press now it works just like the volume buttons with the response time

Hm I might get the Frequency to check it out then, the only thing that is starting to bug me after couple days is the sleep button. Have to push way to hard feels like I have to manhandle it too much...can't be good for the long run....other than getting bigger forearms lol. I'll see if I can still return mine and exchange for a Frequency

I also have the Frequency and its a lot nicer than what I saw on pictures online. Compared to the Speck Candyshell I returned the sleep/power button is a little hard though. That's my only complaint. I was using this case until NGPM came out but it doesn't seem that people like it as much.

So those with the new NGP, your saying the sleep/wake button is a pain to press  damn mine comes by Tues.

Does he Frequency case sleep/wake area feel that much easier to press? Might have to find the Frequency locally in a Walmart :cool:

I'll sure be reviewing the NGP for patiently waiting for the case to arrive regardless

Yes, it is kind of hard. On cases like this I have lightened the button up by using an exacto knife to slice some of the rubber. Actually, I really like the NGP other than this. Nice simple look, and the straight lines complement the phone design. Seems to be variation in batches between reviews--mine did not show any molding problems.

Add me to the list of people who like the Frequency. It's slim, feels good in the hand and offers enough protection for me. The only con, as already mentioned, is the sleep/wake button; it's difficult to press. Easily fixed with a razor blade and two small cuts placed in the creases.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the translucent mercury at my local Walmart so I just went with the black.
