Incipio NGP Matte Smoke Review (possibly best case)

Has anyone used the gunmetal version and if so how does it fit in comparison to the smokey version?
 
I got this case and I think its great.
Except that it doesnt fit my my Shure headphones.
I was thinking of kind of cutting the headphone hole to make it bigger. Has anyone tried this ?
 
Picked one up and I'm a little bummed by the way the case is put together you can see the huge seam along the whole case other
Than that it's good, but my least favorite of all my
Incipio cases

Just registered to say thanks to everyone in this thread.

I picked up this case at Wally World and like it alot! I has just the right grippy-ness to it, smooth enough to pull out of your pocket but will not slide off a table if pushed. The case is soft to absorb shock but stiff enough to retain its shape. No flash interference thanks to a large oval cutout, the dock connector plugs in fine, all buttons work good and the semi-clear/smoke color compliments the iPhone4 very nicely. And the price is right at $20. It even fits perfectly in a universal swivel belt holster I found at Best Buy.

One complain so far is sometimes when I grab it from my holster the side edges pull back slightly. I've got a Zagg Shield that I'm going to try but I'm worried it might catch these edges so we'll see. The supplied screen protector got messed up due to dust and fingerprints when I applied it (totally my fault) so that is why I got the wet application Zagg as a replacement.

The only case I can directly compare with is my wife's Rocketfish Case which I believe is the same as Griffin Motif (?) The Incipio NGP Matte is a bit thicker but as not as hard or shiny.
 
I been thought four cases in the past 90 days for my iPhone 4 and have to admit the NGP Smoke is the best case I have used. Great Review!
 
For me what case to use is a very tough call between the Candyshell, Pixelskin HD and the NGP.

Lately I've been mostly going back and forth with the PSHD and the NGP. Uggg, decisions decisions. lol
 
I just got this case from Wal-Mart and I have to say, it's very nice. I wish they had more color selection but then again, it is Wal-Mart...Fit and finish is great but, I could care less for the screen protector it came with. Got my approval that's for sure and for the price, you cannot beat it.

Just as a follow up: it did catch the edges and bubble them up, so I took the Zagg shield off. I bet you could get the screen protector to tuck under the case but I doubt it would stay since the case flexes a bit too much (especially on the sides). Didn't really care for the look or feel of the plastic versus the smooth glass anyway, so I'm "naked" on the front.

However I can report the case fits fine in a ProClip "Adjustable Holder with Tilt Swivel and Pass-Through Connector for Cable Attachment

I have a Steinheil AF screen protector on my iPhone 4 and I don't have any bubbling issues at all with the NGP case. IMHO Zagg shields are overpriced crap anyway...they stretch when you try to squeegee them and they have crazy orange peel.
 
Anyone want to buy mine? Used for only 1 day. It's a little bulky for me. And I have 20 other cases ;) well almost. DM me if interested.

Thanks for the info. I noticed the orange peel too, just another reason why I ditched the Zagg.
 
Case is excellent. Ordered directly from Incipio and took about a week to arrive to Finland.

First one was flexing at the sides and was not flush when gripped in a normal manner (felt spongy /excess play at the sides). The enclosed screen would also not stick properly and lifted at some of the edges.

Emailed customer support and they sent me a replacement case and a pack of 3 screen protectors.

The enclosed screen protector has the single cutout for both the front camera and earpiece. The pack of 3 protectors that you can purchase separately are the newer ones that have the dedicated cutouts. They both have a rainbow effect when switched off but are clear and not bad for free. They both have the two-layer design.

The case fits well (nice and tight) and has not bubbled the Incipio screen protector. It looks and feels great and has not marked the back of the iPhone. Buttons are also very responsive.

I am very happy with this case and Incipio's after sales support.
 
Could not find a Walmart that carried. Ordered Direct with free ship.
Nice case, good fit. Just not sure I will continue to use. I want a bit more grip with lying flat on a surface.
 
Picked this up at Wal*Mart today for $19 and change. Replacing my gunmetal Incipio NGP with the smaller camera cut-out. Love it. Love how it's semi-translucent yet the same TPU material as the others. Great great case.
 
I have one that I used for one day if anybody is interested in it.
I wasn't a big fan of the smoke so I purchased the black one as well.
