Yeah the game is much more accessible now, much to some players displeasure but ah well i prefer it.

Btw, i have a Level 80 Hunter on EU Grim Batol.

If anyone else is considering starting WoW or coming back i'd say go for it. I used to buy like 2 video games a month so thats £80. I can't remember the last time i bought a video game for my PS3 since i started playing WoW again. Cause i took a break from it when i was lvl 70.

*huntard

lol. elemental shaman are the easiest class in the game, bar none. no contest.

Easier than a huntard?

Are you baiting me?

Anywho, I'm happy where I was (i quit), easy or not, cos there were so few ppl who wanted to be elemental (before dual spec) I *always* got the spot in a raid.

Hunters rotations are actually pretty in-depth, compared to an elemental shaman. no class is difficult, but elemental shaman are by far the easiest to play. I don't play wow anymore, thank god, or this type of conversation would actually fire me up :p

Yeah, I'll admit that's true. I'm only defending it cos it's my first serious toon. Now I'm glad I can't feel bad about playing my shammy.

DPS classes are generally easy to play, but to be really good it requires quite a bit skills.

I'm playing Hunter, Warrior(tank/pvp), Rogue, Druid (healer), Shaman (Healer), Priest (healer) @ all lvl80. I've played a DK and a lock to lvl 75 too and a Mage @ lvl 72.
(I've been dual box lvling two chars at the time :p, my 1-80 record is 5 days played :) )

Some classes are easier than others, for some tasks.
Getting high in PvP is indeed easier as resto druid than resto shaman and PvE healing I find shaman a lot easier than druid. The priest is even easier in PvE and almost as easy as druid in PvP too.

Warrior is really easy at single target tanking, due to extreme TPS (you can peak 11k tps in normal encounters that doesn't give you any buff that increase TPS), but multimob tanking with aoe isn't so easy as warrior.

There is too much talking about how easy some classes are in WoW now, mostly because of 3v3. Where there is 30% mage/rogue/priest (RPM) on top..
I've played RPM at pretty high rating and it is indeed a really easy setup to reach high with!
Ppl say BM hunters are easy.. I've played Rogue/hunter/priest and it's a far harder setup to reach high with than RMP! I also play Rogue/DK/Druid which also is a really fun and pretty hard setup too.

"no brains needed to play Elemental Shammy"

Besides elemental shaman, pallys are one of the easiest classes to run.

WoW notebook updated... How dare you! Playing a pally tank requires skill, foresight, intuition, and too many other skills to mention!! :D

What does your teacher and therapist say about this?

all classes are easy, I have respect only for 100% holy priests

Fine I play a tard toon.

What should I roll next? Preferably a 'repectable' toon with a lot of utility?

Hunters are respectable. High DPS= raid utility. Plus MD never hurts anything.

Paladin tanking is just facerolling, just like everything else. Don't pretend its at all complicated.;):p

"Sputter, pop, fizzle, snark!!" Oh, it's so complicated, and requires at least 4 months of practice to get minimally adequate. ;)

I'm not bragging, looking at my stats, I have no grounds for bragging, but I can tell you what irony is- I spend a significant amount of time gathering mats for a TitanSteel Bone Crusher and the same day I acquire it, I win a Peacekeeper Blade in H Trial of Champion! :)

thats not irony. that IS WoW– pure and simple.

I know I'm moving up in the world, at least out of the basement as I can now tank Heroic Trial of Champion. :D

Of the 5 player WotLK dungeons, anyone know a link on how they rank from a difficulty standpoint? If you look at Northrend dungeons, they rank in difficulty from L70 to L80. When entered in heroic mode (and all participants must be L80), do they have the same difficulty relationship? In otherwords would Utgard Keep, a L70 dungeon on heroic be easier than Uldar, a L77-79 dungeon on heroic? I imagine the answer is yes.

Yup, I have been convinced for a while that Blizzard heavily incorporates algorithms to perform tasks such as you just mentioned. Run a dungeon too much, farm mats too much, flip too many items at AH and it will come around and bite you right in the bum. It happens too much to be coincidence. I suppose Blizzard could be doing this to keep things from swinging wildly back and forth to keep game play as fun as possible for everyone. If that's what they are up to then whatever; I still don't care for it.
:p

H ToC is equivalent to tanking Naxxramas if you ask me.

I hate tanking it. I prefer facerolling DPS.

Congrats!!!

Thanks! :D This (any 5 player dungeon) beats the heck out of 4 hour dungeon crawls.

I assume you have tanked Naxx. Would you put it near the top in difficulty? I have not tanked HOL or HOS but if I can handle HTOC, I should be able to handle them on heroic?
