Not the same person, not the same testing conditions. Invalid comparison.

Heck I could run the same test on 2016 MBP with heat in my room and it will be more than 99 degrees.

lol, just ignore facts. the amd m370x is clearly going to run hotter and louder because of the tdp. And mostly everyone who has gotten the 2016 mbp comments how quiet and cool it is this year. Anyways, bye

460 hit 74 as well in my last attempt. I think the first time I was monitoring, I got up to 76 but since I can't be 100% sure - If I can't replicate it, we'll stick with 74.
 
I just picked up a 2016 Macbook Pro, the high end model with Radeon 455. The iGPU is very very week. It stutters in basic animations such as mission control and scrolling in documents view in Pages.

Also scrolling in "theverge.com" also stutters. This is unacceptable for a 3k machine

It should not be stuttering for most of that, you probably got a lemon. I would return for a new one

what the hell...i have the base 15" and it do not stutters at all...mission control is 60 fps...scrolling in pdf also very smooth..what are you talking about?

Yeah that should be the way, that's why I'm looking for some definitive video demonstrations of the poor performance on the HD 530!
 
0 problems scrolling on The Verge. That's even with lots of other tabs open including streaming audio in one.

I am comparing it to 2015 Macbook Pro 15" which has Iris Pro which is twice as powerful as the one inside 2016 model. For those you haven't used 2015 Macbook Pro won't notice a difference. But 2016 does stutter for simple UI animations.
 
Some people don't notice the Stutter, i would be very surprised if the 530 is able to drive the UI smoothly. I will have to go back to the apple store and checkout a demo unit for myself.

It depends. Some people notice it, others don't. Just like my grandma says she can't any notice lag on her old android phone.

For everybody else, yes there's noticeable stutter. It drives me insane. I will either exchange it for 13 model, since it has much more powerful Iris 550, or go back to using my 2015 RMBP 15".

It's not surprising that 2016 15" stutters, since HD 530 is twice as slow as Iris Pro inside 2015 model.

Agree with you. Its a shame they didn't put the top-end Iris 580 as they did on previous gens. Can you make a video of the stutter? Just to see how bad it is.

Well I stand corrected. I'm going to the Apple Store today to see if they have a bto build like the one I ordered. If they do I'll just buy it there and cancel my order. I'll see for myself if it's laggy and if it is I may return it and wait for the refresh next year
