I just received a shipment notification. Searching the tracking details now. It better not be too long I will be even angrier!

Mine shouldn't be very long then. Dammit i wanted it to still be at preparing tomorrow so i can get free stuff.

KINKS what model iPhone did you get?

OMG consignment not found!

I got the Black 64BG. Do you think they were shipped by model type maybe? I'm still calling them when I can. They really ought to have optional mini customer satisfaction surveys after delivery. I'm really not impressed with the promises they made. I wonder if anyone will call me back like they said they would?

Same thing here. Mine just ticked over to shipped, but no tracking details yet. Progress at least :)

Which is strange, because when I purchased my MacBook the Australia Post website tracked from China.

I hope they do deliver...UPS is a hit and miss; in the last week I had another shipment clear in Mount Hope in the morning delivered by 10am - it was coming from US; two weeks before similar shipment was delayed by 1 business day - UPS citing customs delays. Both were small items shipped from US e-stores. If it was Fedex, I know they would have guaranteed delivery by certain date....Oh well.

I hope so too... Yeah I have the same experience with UPS, although at my old apartment they sometimes wouldn't even deliver it, just leave a door knocker and move on (same as Canada Post - and I work from home and my buzzer was loud so I know they didn't even attempt it). Fedex seems to deliver on time and usually before 11am. I'm in a new house now so hopefully things will be a little different.

Back on point, where are you located and what's your status so far? They have to get my iPhone from Mount Hope, ON to Charlottetown, PE so I'm not holding out too much that I'll get it today, but with UPS having delivered packages to me before as late as 7:30pm-8pm I still have a glimmer of hope it might get to me yet... When Apple shipped products to me in the past, it usually arrives in 2 days after it shipped and mine left on Wednesday. (Yes these shipments have come from China and I always choose the free shipping option since, well, it's free and it usually arrives in 2 days anyway :) )

I got a 32GB white and i think the 16GB might of shipped first but I'm not really sure.

Mine's now in Mount Hope, Ontario--about 1.5 hours from where I am, as of 6:07am. There's a chance this really will show up today, although I'd have no way of knowing, since UPS STILL hasn't given me an ETA. Sigh.

So my White iPhone 4S 64GB left Anchorage, AK and decided to fly past Canada and over to Louisville, KY...

I happened to have checked a few minutes later and status updated to arriving in Mount Hope, ON. There's hope (pun intended) that I could still *possibly* have a UPS driver knocking on my door today if they fly it to my local depot early this morning, but at least I should be seeing it by the latest on Monday and not the 19th as stated in the email Apple sent to me yesterday.

For the record, tracking my iPhone via UPS it has never actually stated a delivery date.

How is it for all you lucky ones who have it already?

Canada:

Mine also skipped over Canada and went to Ontario, CA, United States and then to Seattle, WA, United States

Can't see how it will make it to Edmonton today. Maybe Monday.

Mine is expected on Wednesday.

I live about 1hr away from Mount Hope, but usually it stays in Mount Hope during customs. I wish I could just drive over and pick it up! I really hope I get it today :)

I'm given to understand that the shipping method used by Apple somehow circumvents the customs rigormorole. I'm sure hoping so. :)

I hope so! When I got my MBP a couple years ago, the tracking info still said "Mount Hope" and suddenly I heard the bell ring and UPS was here! The site was still lagging behind and it didn't even say "Out For Delivery" even though I'd already gotten it. I hope that happens again :)

In Toronto....My UPS tracking latest scan is "IMPORT SCAN" @ Mount Hope, ON.

There is no delivery date shown on the on-line tracking site so I called UPS and the said it shows a delivery date of Tuesday Oct 18!!!! That is crazy.

I have to admit that I'm kind of pissed....

Well, maybe that's an option if it doesn't deliver today. I remember I wasn't home when my :apple:TV showed up, and I just went to the nearest depot and picked it up. It was a bit of a chore, but at least I didn't need to wait any longer.

Hell, if mine gets stuck in Mt. Hope I might just go there tomorrow myself; it's less than 1.5hr from where I am.

I find it highly unlikely that UPS or FedEx would allow people to come to the depot to pick up packages that haven't completed the first attempt at delivery. I imagine it would be a headache to go find it among the unprocessed deliveries, then process the paperwork to confirm that regular delivery was aborted and recipient picked up in person. There's got to be a hundred bureaucratic problems with allowing that to happen.

I understand it's frustrating. Life is pain.
