International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

My 2 iPhones were shipped by Apple UK to London UK using SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY.
The 4S Black 16GB and Black 64GB just got delivered to my friend in UK!

I find it highly unlikely that UPS or FedEx would allow people to come to the depot to pick up packages that haven't completed the first attempt at delivery. I imagine it would be a headache to go find it among the unprocessed deliveries, then process the paperwork to confirm that regular delivery was aborted and recipient picked up in person.

Well, while they did take a while to find it, the paperwork wasn't onerous. Seemed they were were quite willing to do it, considering I was standing there. Maybe this was somehow a different situation than you're imagining? :confused:
 
For those in Toronto waiting for delivery, my UPS shipment has now departed Mount Hope (Hamilton) and I assume it now goes to a new sort facility in Toronto then out for delivery? Perhaps there is a chance I'll get it today!! I have tweeted UPS and they asked for my tracking number to look into it for me so we will see what they say!

Im in london too, being shipped to my work address .. this is just getting annoying :( i have a feeling syncreon has flopped

Just phoned up UK Mail, apparently deliveries should be arriving by 6pm
 
ARGGG!

UPS twitter just communicated back with me and told me that mine will be delivered on Monday! It has left Mt Hope for Toronto....I replied back asking if I can go the toronto sort facility to get it. waiting for a reply....
 
Mine's still in Mt Hope, according to the UPS site anyway... then again, I sometimes see updates posted hours after it changed. When does it say yours left Mt Hope?
 
Mine left Mt. Hope, just arrived in Concord. Too bad I'm in Ottawa :( Looks like Monday for me...
 
Delivery exception????

I just wanted to know if any one else has this on the fedex tracking page? It was this morning on fedex truck out for delivery but about an hour ago I checked and it said future delivery requested... what does that mean???

Yeah. Mine's in Concord. Delivery ETA updated to Monday. Poop. Someone dropped the ball on this one. People who went out of their way to pre-order should get the package on time. Stupid. :mad:
 
On the website it has a Destination Scan in the future, but according to the guy on the phone, mine's on board for delivery.

Is everyone else in BC getting theirs?

My friend in Vancouver just got his a minute ago! From UPS.
 
I am just syncing mine up now :D always feel a little deflated once its up and running personally as I find the whole shipping malarky quite fun, does that make me a little weird???

has anyone in OZ got their phone delivered then? I was skimming the thread earlier and it seems people are being given gift cards?

I'm not aware of anyone having received one. The first batch is still in transit between hong kong and sydney.

Hey - I'm in Australia. Mine is still in Hong Kong at this stage, so not even sure it will be here Monday :(

You're right - we are being compensated... I got $100 back, refunded straight to my credit card. I think it might be dependent on your purchase history etc. and the person you manage to get on the phone.

Have you purchased a lot from the apple online store in the past, because i have only ever got an iPhone 3G, a Bumper and my iPhone 4s and she didn't offer me anything.
