You mean like the 6s and 6s+?
Besides those. The iPhones are always solid every year. The MacBook was a joke, the iPad Pro, Keyboard, and Pencil were laughable, and Apple Music was full of bugs. The Apple Watch was definitely good, but not something that I would recommend in its current state. Overall I was not too impressed by the 2015 lineup.

I like led the Apple Watch enough to buy one for my son. I liked the concept of an iPad pro but we already have two iPads and didn't need another. We got an sp4 instead. As far as Apple Music, MacBook i don't currently use either. iOS 9 I do like.

The biggest thing for apple to wow us with is much much better battery, maybe a new form of battery tech? Double the amount the iphone currently has in the same thickness.

I mean, yeah I do like my Apple Watch to a certain extent. My main issues with it are speed (which has improved dramatically with watchOS 2), price, and the lack of an always on screen. 2 of those major issues can be fixed with a software update, so I'm generally not too harsh towards those two reasons. Price, however, needs to come down a little bit in my opinion. It is a well designed and built watch, but the lack of functionality and real "killer app" is why it would be hard for me to fork over another $400 to get the next model.

Apple seems to be on an unfortunate minor downward spiral that is rare for the modern version of the company. iPhone sales growth is slowing, Apple Watch sale predictions are down, and the company has released many products in 2015 that seem to not have been ready for the public at the time of release.

With iPhone 7 and iOS 10 specifically, Apple has a chance to redeem itself and change the game. I think the company needs to push itself to create the most major iOS upgrade in a long time as iOS 10 can be a great milestone.

Apple needs to stun in 2016, and the new versions of iOS and the iPhone are going to be two of the biggest factors in determining the company's future trajectory.

Apple are doing better than basically any other hardware manufacturer. They're doing fine.

Just take a look at Apple stock, which has been surprisingly hovering around its 52 week low for a while.
Because most things have been down this month and because as is often the case Apple's stock goes down after announcements and earnings, even the good ones (which most of them have been for quite a while)?

People have WAY overblown the iPhone's sales for next quarter projection.

This is the s version year, and this is the usual drop off point after the biggest shopping period of the year.

interesting: another "Apple is doomed" thread.

iPhone 7 will introduce some novelties, as usual. We will see...
I'm expecting iOS 10 to takes advantage of the powerful hardware of the iPad Pro.
I hope apple will ditch support to very old hardware (anything below iPhone 5).

I don't know why everyone gets all in a fit over iPhone sales numbers. This is the S year, and this is usually the low point in the S model sales every single year. It's close enough to the 7 that no one will upgrade yet and there are no sales on the S models at this point.

What new and great features do you think the 7 will have to make it "the biggest selling phone".

Good news or same news isn't all that exciting so any glimpse of something different is something various people cling on to and run with almost just for the excitement of it all.

I know a lot of folks go all doom and gloom especially during S cycle releases but the truth is Apple is going stronger than ever. Opinions on this forum come from a small niche market of serious fans which do not always line up with the overall market. I think some of this we are seeing on this forum is gadget fatigue. Folks are getting tired of Apple's incremental release cadence and want to be blown away next release. Chances are slim that will happen as it does appear the mobile market has peeked.

Apple will, as usual, have record sales with the iPhone 7 but I think we maybe seeing sales slowly declining due to saturation and older phones being good enough due to the obnoxious price point. The iPad is already in the thick of serious decline as folks are upgrading every year. I personally hope iOS 10 amazes with features and UI tweaks. The redesign will be nice as usual but it will be incremental because we all know all the same buttons and general look will persists.

I don't think anyone is denying that Apple is stronger then ever, but like Wallstreet people are waiting to see the iPhone slip. Even during their last investor call in, they made a gazillion dollars but they're making that mostly on a single product and that product is starting to show signs that its grow has slowing. You cannot have record breaking sales every quarter. At some point you will have reached saturation with your product.

Given that maturity of the smart phone technology (how much can apple truly change), and how many new customers they can reach - we're getting to the point where iPhone sales will be slowing.

This should all be as obvious as the sky being blue but for some reason people don't seem to grasp it.

Apple and the iPhone aren't in any danger, but increasing sales can't last forever.

Have to be? Lol. Apple can afford a "flop" and still be fine. Don't make it seem like they are HTC/Blackberry and BARELY holding on as a company.

That cannot be said enough times. I think the world is in for global smartphone slow down. There comes a time when the market is getting saturated. there starts to be less and less reasons to buy a new phone. Look at the iphone 6 it was a game changer and now there is less reasons to upgrade. I think that is why Apple warned that March will be the first ever decline in iphone sales. It is not doom and gloom for them by no means. It just means smartphones have matured feature set wise and there is less and less reasons for people to upgrade.

They've had other flops in their illustrious history and they weathered the storm. While many of us loved the G4 cube, it was a failure by metric you want to use.

I don't think Apple will have such a flop with the iPhones, because unlike the G4 Cube, they're not going to go in some new radical direction

Agree with this 100%, i don't think Apple are going to do anything radical to change the iPhone, after all it sells and it sells VERY well indeed. I don't know what people expect but i have a hard time seeing how the iPhone will change much in terms of design, there isn't really much that can be done with it in terms of it's shape. This doesn't really bother me anyway, i have the iPhone 6 Plus and i think it's great.
Sometimes people expect too much, for example some people were saying that the iPhone 6S isn't a massive leap, but the 3D feature and live photo's are great, i feel that they change the way people use the phone, my best friend has the 6S and I've played with the 3D touch feature, it's a great addition, so is the live photo's, my best friend has a young child and the live photo really is useful for capturing great moments, for example at her sons 9th birthday party.
I personally don't think the iPhone needs drastic or massive design changes, sometimes subtle features such as 3D Touch and Live photo's add more to it than anything else.

(sorry for the long really )

I hope they make a significant design change with the 7, such as slimming down the bezels and removing the home button (front facing speakers would be nice too). I hope the antenna lines take a hike once the iPhone 7 is out and they can find a way to get the camera flush with the body. A redesign is one of the things I think the iPhone needs, even though many like the iPhone and its iconic look and home button. Nothing radical, but something to the point where it changes the look and feel like no other iPhone before it.
