All of these required updates are annoying. Apple's QA folk need to get their act together. Is there a problem in that department?

Google took over 6 MONTHS to fix Bluetooth bug...there’s still debate if it was fixed. And over ONE YEAR to fix battery bug in Nexus device.

And here we are whining about Apple updates (too many apparently for some) and fixing issues in 1-2 weeks timeframe.

Oh my, look at all the whine and cheese of these spoiled consumers.

So you'd prefer to have an OS riddled with bugs, some of them YEARS old and so serious they compromise every aspect of your device, to at least having a company that will find bugs and fixes them quickly?

If so, Android is right over there!

Quit your whining! You people whine and complain when they don't fix issues, then you whine and complain when they DO FIX ISSUES! Just go to Android and be done with it, then you won't have to deal with updates anymore, cause you'll almost never get any!

I’ve had this issue since 11.0. Glad it was fixed. Was not introduced in 11.2.

Yes, I've had this from the beginning since receiving my iPhone X and it was running 11.1, so glad they fixed this!

iPhone X 11.1 through 11.2.1 (15C153)

Anybody experiencing slide to unlock Stutter (actually more like a momentary pause exposing 1cm)
before fully sliding up ?

ONLY when the revealing Words With Friends 2 app.

Not sure if Apple gets the bug feedback or Words With Friend gets the bug feedback

So then the update did more than fix the homekit remote issue. How many other bug fixes did Apple sneak in?
They did mention it contained more fixes. This is pretty much how it usually is.

How about fixing the freaking iTunes player ALWAYS showing up on my lock screen. This just started with 11.2 at least for me. Nothing makes it go away. I don't need it, don't want it and it's blocking messages I'd prefer to see.
See if something from https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...shows-anything-playing.2077357/#post-25591043 might be of some help.

What’s funny is these folks don’t have to hit the upgrade button! Some folks love to complain.

Good work on Apple's part with regular updates and improvements - it's one of the reason they are the most successful companies in history.

What a crock .. .... It has nothing to do with updates and improvements. They changed the industry with a phone and that is about all that is keeping them afloat. Claims like yours are rubbish and hyperbole.

If they don't get their .... together soon. They will begin to suffer. People are losing faith in their brand, quality and innovative presence.

The Apple of old is starting to show it's ugly head. Too many products, too many bugs and not enough attention to the detail. The one thing that differentiated them from the rest.

Shame really. All dogs have their day and the sun will soon be setting on this one. Regardless of cash stores.

Now playing is a mess with iTunes Player. Sometimes it shows up when I’m streaming on Spotify or pandora so I can’t change tracks with my watch. Incredibly annoying.

Another last-minute bug fix?? Tim's Apple?? No kiddin'!!!

If only Android wasn't even buggier... However the gap is narrowing month after month. Sad!

After the previous update, the autozoom has stopped working on my iPhone 6s plus and the latest update didn’t help. That sucks! I am suspecting that it was done purposely but Apple had forgot to exclude new phones.

1) Just had the focus issue happen tonight and I realized it was odd. I saw it earlier this week, but though it was just having a hard time finding the focus point. 2) The Music app also takes over the lock screen for me as well...I knew I hadn't started playing anything! 3) Also, the rear camera blowing out the highlights is happening with me as well. 4) I'm having a maps issue: Maps will not let go of my previously searched for places. I have spent almost 2 hours and 5 phone calls to upper level tech support on it since ios 11 came out....

The frequency of updates reminds me to the very first iPhone almost ten years ago… When iOS was called iPhone software.

With the autofocus I had issues especially when it's dark (night shots in the illuminated city p.e.) with my iPhone X. Hope they fixed it.

Much worse: The automatic iCloud upload of videos and photos was VERY unreliable. There was a text dialog right yesterday (see attached screenshot from iPhone X): "The iCloud photo mediathek sync wasn't performed for nine days. There is an internet connection necessary." Needless to say that in this time the iPhone X was several times (better: most of the times) in a reliable internet.

Sometimes the video player only played the sound and the image stayed black (directly on the iPhone). Hope they fixed that as well.

iOS 11 reminds really to iPhone software 1. Buggy as hell.

Apple going down in ball of flame you say?

How soon will sun set???

iPhone sales are tanking! AirPods are total failure!! Apple Watch are getting destroyed by Android Wear and the Swiss!! iPads are dead already! No OEMs will ever put CarPlay into their cars, especially big names like BMW! And don’t get me started on their Services! There is no money in that! Apple stocks?! Sell sell sell now!

In other words, WTF are you talking about?! Dude Android just around the corner. I am sure that you’re are on Android already. I hear mobile Windows is doing fantastic!

In other news, the on-going public beta of Apple's new iPhone X continues with new updates.

Oh yeah, Pixel 2 has no issues at all!

X has all these HORRIBLE issues called software bugs that are fixed in a timely manner.

I much rather have HARDWARE and software issues of Pixels. But nah, that’s just part of the Android experience!

When X has a minor bug, we think the world is about to end until it is fixed a week later....

Oh the horror of owning an Apple device....

I sometimes have a similar bug, I open the camera app and I'm not able to focus. Force closing the app doesn't work and I need to reboot the phone. It only seldom happens, and it isn't related to 11.2 I've been seeing this bug ever since I bought my 8+ a couple of months ago
