You sure it got downloaded and installed?Well, so far it did not invigorate my i6 but as long as there are no issue(s), I can take my time in choosing when to upgrade to a new iPhone.

Developer options the first thing I unleash on all my droids. Lower some setting makes the phone so fast even an iPhone can't keep upWhere to start?! Easy ones would be:
1) You can have one icon anywhere you want on your home screens. Want only icons on the right side of the screen? Done. Any type of pattern is fine.
2) Add any widget to your screen. Want a big digital or analog timer on your home screen? Done!
3) Control center on iOS looks like a mess. There are all these little buttons with different sizes and all rounded. Looks like someone spilled some change on a table. Android has these same buttons located in their notification panel as quick actions. So much cleaner and doesn't take up the entire screen.
4) Always on Display is awesome. Always see the time, notification icons, and hell, a photo or icon if you want.
5) Notifications - Take up less room, condensed, and you can easily snooze them from the notification panel. I think iOS12 is now using some of these features tho like grouped notifications. Always late to the game.
I won't even get into what you can do when you go into developer mode. Then you can really go crazy with the status bar, customizing buttons (click, double click, hold, double click hold) and actions. That's without rooting the phone.
Most people aren't aware until they get that red badge notification, after a week. Pretty much the only people updating are 'techies.'
12.9” second generation. What iPad Pro? My 10.5 had no issues at all
It’s a good thing when developers target the latest iOS release.Yeah, right. Like you really even have a choice not to upgrade since some of your apps will be gimped if you don't from day one.
Android installs can barely hit 10% a year after launch.

You say that like it is important or that most people care. No one cares about OS updates. Anyone that switches from android to iOS isnt because of faster software updates ( https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ople-switch-mobile-operating-systems.2133749/ )
Yup thought it was me, think they removed it because it was not necessary to show since Bluetooth is always on nowI updated on my i6 since I have nothing to lose. So far I do not notice any improvement on performance and the battery but it seems those who have the i6S and more recent ones saw improvements on theirs. The only thing I noticed was my Bluetooth icon no longer appears when I turned it on.
Same here. Update does not show in settings or in iTunes. It makes me wonder if Apple has issues with those and blocked the update.12.9” second generation.
Just like every year?Won't these stats be diluted on Friday with the release of the XS and XS Max preorders and later with the XR?
You needed to know how Android works before making such observations. No matter what Google does, they'll never match Apple when it comes to this. I don't know why they can't strong-arm OEM's. I mean Microsoft never let OEM's decide when Windows Updates are applied.
The new iPads won’t have a notchI’ve installed it on my iPhone SE and 2018 iPad, and so far, quite pleased with it.
A few things about the iPad implementation I don’t like:
- The split top bar on the screen. Yes, I know FaceID is coming to iPads, and they need to make room for the Notch™, but time and date in the top left, and WiFi on the right is totally inconsistent with my phone, and it’s annoying. Time in the middle, and date on the right for non-notched devices, please! Or stack everything on the right like on macOS.
- The swipe-up-from-the-bottom gesture used to bring up the dock, and then Control Center. Now it’ll bring up the app switcher, but you practically have to swipe from the bottom all the way to the top. Even then, it doesn’t seem to work consistently. Similarly, four-finger-swipexup to invoke the app switcher also doesn’t work consistently.
- Control Center in the top right is kind of annoying, but I can se the logic in it with the WiFi there now. I’ll get used to it.
- Photos now being an “app” in Messages, instead of right next to the camera is frustrating. It now takes more taps to send a photo to someone, if you’re not taking it from within Messages.
