My iPhone went from 94% to 0% overnight, not sure when it died but it did. I went to bed at 11 PM EST. It is now 7:13 AM EST. I didn’t expect this.

Edit: 13 Pro
Had this a couple of times on Beta 1. For me, both times it happened was a video calling app (once FaceTime, once Line) that had somehow kept control of the camera or mic (viewable in the control centre) and happily drained the battery doing nothing. Reboot to fix.

I now keep an eye on it but it's not re-occurred.

It could still be there in some form, or temporarily removed, but I'd bet we're not going to see that Home Screen customization in iPadOS 16. You can call me out on it if it appears later.

Oh I don’t disagree with you. But I think the main reason they disabled it was to keep people from playing in places they don’t want you to.

How is everyone getting a phone battery icon for their widget? All I get is a watch one that changes to my airpod pros. I don’t get a phone battery option.

Same here. Only switches to phone if I don’t have my watch on and it’s out of range.

Update: fixed it

Since updating to beta 1 (now 2) I’m unable to share my fitness details with my friend who is also on iOS16, either through my phone or watch. The invite works, but the other person doesn’t receive anything.

Anyone else have this problem and or solution.
Thanks.

Oh for sure the PosterBoard app being visible in Shortcuts was an oversight. It barely functioned even as a developer debug menu though. Don't think we'll see it back in iPad 16.0 at least.

I said it earlier in the thread I think; I'm not a big customizer. I've had basically the same set of folders on a single screen for years. This feature made me set up work, workout, sleep and personal homescreens, lockscreens, watch faces and streamlined notifications in a way I genuinely think is useful. I absolutely adore the feature and look forward to it coming to iPad. But Apple are at their best when they do things well, not quickly, so I'll be patient :)

Remember: what you’re looking at is for the iPhone 14 always on display. They may not “light up” the status bar symbols for that. In that case the Lock Screen widget is what you’ll see if you glance at the phone
Perhaps this is the reason the status bar does not change colors to match the widgets? Always on will only show the widgets? Interesting.

I don’t like it that now there is less margin between the now playing widget and the notifications.

I am not near my computer this week, but wondering if they fixed iTunes syncing with iPhone in beta 2. Beta 1 would not sync with iTunes only backup.

Really liking beta 2 today (upgrade from beta 1) on both 13pm and iPad Pro 11 v3. Much smoother. Various delays gone. iCloud private relay settings visible again. I’ve even resumed iCloud backup

Only app issue so far, as before, is slack when accessing a enterprise workspace with jailbreak detection enabled

What's with the huge "Start Page" text on Safari (which is also in the new macOS beta)? I know I'm on the start page, I don't need a huge visual reminder every time I open it.

Hello All.

I’m hoping for A certain issue to have been corrected in the new Beta2.
I added some blocked emails using the apple mail settings but one I add was a mistake.

But now when I tried to correct my mistake and remove the wrong email address I am unable to so as it just keeps appearing on the block list after pressing Done.

I can unblock new numbers added earlier before ios16 just not email addresses I’m adding now.

Regards
David

Edit problem still there update the case to keep Apple informed
