A bug

I am not near my computer this week, but wondering if they fixed iTunes syncing with iPhone in beta 2. Beta 1 would not sync with iTunes only backup.
no, the synchronization does not work in this beta 2 with itunes. I suppose they will soon release an update, because the public beta is very close and it will be necessary to have compatible itunes.

Messages.

The text bar is missing for any message that did not originate from an Apple device.
Reboot did not fix.
Yesterday was okay. This morning it is broken. Wondering if it is device or server issue.

I can access those settings straight from the Camera app on my iPhone 13PM with iOS 15.4
That's why I always am hesitant to post these. Invariably somebody pops up and says "already there!"

That said, I don't remember seeing these controls before. But I just go with one style and never change it. If I want something different, I'll do it in post.

I had no idea they were there either. Completely hidden away in the camera app. Another piss poor design by Apple!

Edit: that should have multi-quoted you guys above but… well, Tapatalk

Normally the contact suggestions in the share sheet are a direct reflection of the conversation threads in the Messages app.

However, in Beta 2 I’m seeing share sheet contact suggestions for threads that I’ve deleted from the Messages app.

In the past, deleting a conversation from the Messages app would result in that conversation no longer appear in the share sheet.

You can access that if you can swipe up from the bottom.

apple now allows you to download the ipsw file of this second beta as we were doing until now, without the need to log in to the developer portal. And itunes with this second beta no longer says that you have to have the latest version of itunes to update to ios 16, but it fails because apple is not signing this version. I think they are already preparing for the launch of the public beta. I suspect we will have an itunes update in the next two weeks to get everything ready.
updated my devices to iOS16 beta 2 using IPSW file works for me by using newest Xcode 14 beta2 (MobileDevice.pkg) or else it will fail and you’ll be stuck in recovery mode.

Had this a couple of times on Beta 1. For me, both times it happened was a video calling app (once FaceTime, once Line) that had somehow kept control of the camera or mic (viewable in the control centre) and happily drained the battery doing nothing. Reboot to fix.

I now keep an eye on it but it's not re-occurred.

Well with beta 1 I had to remove the weather widget on the Lock Screen and that solved the heating and battery drain issue.

This beta, it was a certain app that was making my phone run pretty warm and also a battery drain. I deleted the app and it has been fine since then.

According to Apple, you can check your AirTag battery level in Find My app but looking at the details of the tag. But when I go in there, there is no battery icon. Now, I did not do this before iOS 16 so is this a missing feature that was there before or is it some where else?
