Been there a while, apparently dating back to iOS 14.2 according to some quick research.Pretty sure this is new in this beta. Hadn’t seen it beforeView attachment 2027350

C-band only became available the last week of January and it’s still being deployed in a lot of cities across the country. People who are just seeing it might be in an area where it was deployed recently or just drove thru an already covered area.I definitely had that on iOS 15.5. I was traveling the weekend before WWDC and it came up in the city where I was staying. First time I had ever seen it and it was memorable as a result.
It‘s separate from family sharing.Does Shared Library require you to be in an iCloud family already? Or can you invite people outside of it?
I tried it last night, and itunes on windows doesn't work at the moment, only 3utools. but strange things happen with itunes, the way I see it. beta 1 didn't even try to unzip the beta, it directly said that it needed an update of the program that doesn't exist yet. beta 2 did the whole process normally, but it failed when apple had to authorize the update. With beta 3 exactly the same thing happens as with the first one, and I don't understand how one beta works and another doesn't work. the version of itunes is the same, 12.12.4.1 if I remember correctly, I don't know why in a beta if the update process starts and in the others it doesn't. But hey, I've updated the last two with 3utools with ipsw and it works perfectly, so it's not a problem that I don't have iTunes at the moment. What would be really great is if you can see or find out the Windows equivalent to holding down option/alt and clicking the check for update button then custom selecting your IPSW file for a reinstall or restore in iTunes.
No pressure at all. Only if you have time. Then we have both bases covered for people who get in trouble. At present ive only been able to offer advice on a Mac. 👍🏼
I had something similar happen when I jumped from 15 to 16 B2. For me, a hard restart fixed it. To hard restart, press volume up, volume down, then press and hold the power button for several seconds until the Apple logo is displayed. Once I did that, the notification views started working properly.Hey, everyone. Just jumped from 15 to 16 beta 3. Is anyone experiencing notification issues on the Lock Screen? No matter what view I select, when I wake the phone, all notifications are hidden and I have to swipe up to see them. To be honest, all of the views look the same. If I select count view, I never see a number count and list and stack behave exactly the same. Any ideas? Thanks.
Search in Messages seems to be broken/inconsistent. Also noticed the new tone for Siri which I am personally not a fan of; it’s barely audible when driving around and using CarPlay
Anyone else finding the music app to be a mess? Especially with downloaded music?

Still no file transfer / external monitor connectivity on iPad Pro 11in (non-M1) since beta 1. Device charges fine, but lost the ability to connect to a mac, USB-C external monitor, etc.
Bummed that 16B3 didn't resolve this.
Anyone in my boat?
Thanks for the tip, but I did the hard reset before posting. Perhaps phone needs to finish indexing.I had something similar happen when I jumped from 15 to 16 B2. For me, a hard restart fixed it. What was happening for me was that regardless of the setting, notifications were displayed either as a stack or just wouldn’t display at all on the lock screen and only showed up in notification center.
sos only..?
Because the SOS symbol is new to iOS 16.I had never seen this before iOS 16 either. According to Reddit, it means that even though you do not have carrier service you are still able to make emergency calls using another carrier.
It’s claimed that this feature has been around since the phone 6s (and I believe that’s correct as it’s mandated by US law). Perhaps, but as I noted above, I’ve never seen the “SOS” symbol before iOS 16.
I have been so busy at work im still on 15.6 like beta 3 LOL. I’m jumping on 16 probably today .. 👊🏼 i assume I need the mobile device package still to upgrade through finder to 16 ??@Bobout how’s it going buddy?
Beta 3 is super smooth for me. Still loving the benefits of IPSW installs. Definitely still having reduced bug action that I see on here still, like we had with 15. 👊🏼
lol, sorry about that haha swear this is the first time i've come across itBeen there a while, apparently dating back to iOS 14.2 according to some quick research.
