If you are running a beta already, updating now makes total sense. I am personally going to install anything released up until the final public build.
I’m pretty sure that the inaccuracies in weather app are due to Apple switching to Dark Sky/Apple Weather data instead of The Weather Channel. It truly sucks because the forecasts are way off. Even current conditions are off. TWC was/is a lot better. Dark Sky might be better in some specific areas but not worldwide.
Might as well uninstall the Weather app and switch to Carrot. It doesn’t have TWC anyway but some alternatives that are still better than Dark Sky.

I read somewhere there's also an 'expanded list' option like the old list. I just can't seem to find it anywhere.
For me, it's pretty much on par with DP6... and close to what I saw with 15.6.

I suspect that they save money by using their own source rather than TWC. Cutting costs/increasing profit is more import to them than the accuracy of the weather app’s data.

I wonder if Apple is using a different source for weather data for the iOS 16 weather app.
The source for the iOS 15.6.1 weather app is Weather Channel. Maybe Apple is now getting the weather data from Dark Sky?
I‘m still on 15.6.1 and the weather app using Weather Channel data is showing different high/low/current temps and precipitation chance than the Dark Sky app, though not significantly different most days.
In 16.1 for iPad 2021 12.9 I get a strange Safari issue. Fore example, I clicked on MacRumors homepage for forums and it goes to forums then reverts back to the homepage. Sometimes this happens 4-5 times in a row. Really strange and annoying bug.
RC won't be out until September 7th, after the iPhone event.
This is to be expected, as Apple will be optimising the battery performance over the next few weeks, at the very end of the beta cycle.
CIBC e-deposit (the camera functionality) still broken in this last beta. (reported) - iPhone 13 mini.
The orientation is off by 90 degrees and it's near impossible to focus the tiny little window - something wrong with how they're using the gyroscope in the phone - attempting to move the phone to centre the image is broken.

13PM too and I've toggled it multiple times per beta. I can feel it when I toggle, even this time when it is much more faint, but there is nothing when I type on the keyboard.
Battery Life on 13 PRO is outstanding! Off charger at 6:00 am now 2:48 pm

Yea been off since 9:30, and with just usage on break and lunch for light use like messages and FB, I think it was still like 96% on lunch. Will check again at 3:00 break. I'm thinking it might even be close to 100% by the time I get home instead of 70%. Just have it connected to the slow charge for CarPlay on the way to and from work for maybe 20mins each way.
If this is the case then switching from the Weather Channel was a bad idea on Apple’s part, as the new forecast quality is noticeably worse. I submitted a feedback to Apple and hope they can sort it out before the public release is out.
This. The only reason I use the TWC app on my device, it is actually accurate.
