I am not. Just updated 11 apps no issue. But I'm sure somethings amiss for some of you. I'm sure it will clear up once the frenzied downloading slows a bit.

Just did 32 myself.

Omg stop making excuses for bad design seriously…..
I'm not making an excuse. I just have seen designs where people have mocked it up actual size and it's hard to read for some people. Not everyone might have perfect vision and you have to account for that.

Have some common sense mate, and think of other people who could be older, or just have poorer sight. You're clearly only considering your own view. Our UI team have a person that is responsible for readability, and so I know from them about how businesses have to ensure this is considered.

I'm no expert and I have gotten dubious info from Apple support in the past, but two senior advisors told me essentially what you are getting at: the signed code for an OS or an update is 100% correct. If it weren't it would be flagged and not able to run.

However, one of them, a senior tech in store, also said sometimes what you see in the field doesn't match the theory...

2nd para…

Is pretty much how Craig F left it with me after I tested his theory

Exactly. It's hard enough to read for me already on my XS because of tiny font and having it be two different colors at once would be even worse.

Something new this morning.
From both 13 ProMax and iPad Pro 11 i am unable to send a voicemail via text to any non-iDevice.

Tried forwarding a VM to my son (he has a Note 10) which I have done before and they are failing. Both on AT&T.
Tried sending it to my 10 Pro on Mint Mobile and it is failing also.

The reverse works (Android to iOS/iPadOS).

So is RC and official one the same? same features and performance? also when I get the iPhone 14 and do restore from back up ( from a 13 with RC version) will I have any issues ?

I plan on restoring from backup when my 14 Pro Max shows up Friday. Same process, new year - I’ve been maintaining the same iPhone backup in iTunes since 2007!

And there I think lies your inherit problem.
I bet that back up is riddled with messed up code.
I’ve rarely had a problem with it, and never one that couldn’t be treated. AFAIK it’s only user-data, like preferences/settings, Home Screen layout, contacts, photos/videos in the camera roll, etc. it shouldn’t hold any data directly related to the OS itself.
IMO one of the biggest strengths of the iOS platform is that you can just restore from a backup when you get a new phone and just like that, it’s YOUR phone. Just where you left off, exactly the way you left it, like you never even changed devices… Except you did! You don’t have to reconfigure or set up a single thing besides your password. And the fact that backups like this can still be done locally, free of charge and without using the cloud, is a major plus.

Cos that's what you selected without scrolling down and noticing the option for iOS 16. Seems lots of people did the same thing, as there's a thread full of people who'd done just that.

Go back to s/w update, and install 16.
I tried that put there is no iOS 16 update . I have iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation)
