This is still bugging me. Did we find a global fix, rather than going into each contact and selecting the primary number?

I have an E-sim. Just one number used. No physical sim present.

Found an interesting glitch today - I needed one more workout of 15 minutes or more to get my September badge, so I put on outdoor walk and did 45 minutes, and it didn't register for my badge when I shut off the workout. I had to reboot my phone for the Fitness app to "count" the workout and give me my badge.

Have you tried tapping on that “Last used”? That should prompt you to change the default to the other number.

13 ProMax
iPad Pro 11
WiFi

This only applies to the 13PM - I am getting sporadic wifi no-data / low speed issues.
Not seeing this issue with the iPad nor any other device.

UPDATE:
Ran into it just now and did a test run (Net Analyzer). Was showing 34.5mbps down. Same test on my 1+ 10Pro showed 459mbps down. Did a reboot and a retest is showing 433 mbps down on the 13PM.

Running the RC, and it appears that it is still impossible to achieve the old "Do Not Disturb" behavior using Focus. With the old behavior, with scheduled DND you could set notifications to appear when you were actively using the device, and be silenced otherwise. Since the introduction of "Focus," this seems impossible to do. Am I missing something, or was this functionality removed?

You can turn Focus on in Settings > Focus and choose the DND option. With a bit of changes (I set mine to allow only Favorites to ring through) and set a time slot, 10pm - 7am, I can then go into Control Center and turn the DND Focus on.

Not exactly the same but I can get it close.

Since last PB and including RC the weather look screen needs sometimes a half sec. to generate the weather background. Can you confirm?

.
I can’t. Even in the weather app itself all informations about current weather and forecast are totally wrong.

The most annoying thing is the keyboard. Swipe keyboard and auto correct are much worse than ever before.

How is everyone’s other storage ? I’m 55 GB on 13 PM

WHATEVER YOU DO!!! don’t delete your E-Sim in setting, thinking you can just rescan your QR code to reinstall. This can’t be fixed over the phone, you have to physically go into store to get your E-Sim working again.

Good start to Sunday 😜.

Selecting the primary number on the contacts it affects only sorts the problem out until you restart. Very fussy all this and getting annoying. Sigh.

I have been on the RC since it dropped on Wednesday, I woke up this morning to find that my iPhone 11 Pro Max is still experiencing the same system crashes that have plagued me throughout the entire beta cycle. At least it made it 3 days this time. iOS 16 is still completely unstable in the way no iOS has ever been before, not on any other iPhone I’ve had and certainly not in the 3 years I’ve had this iPhone.
Hopefully things will be better on my 14 Pro Max.
Are we expecting that there may be some more bugs fixed before release tomorrow and Wednesday's RC might not be the final build?

And to think 16 was starting off better than its predecessor… 😟

Here’s to hoping we get an updated build tomorrow.

Yep, I learnt that eSIM lesson the hard way too, when moving from iPhone 11 to 12 mini. Did the full backup of 11 and moved everything to 12, yet the eSIM refused to move over. So had to walk around with two iPhones for a few days and then pop into an operator’s shop to sort it out, the nearest of which happened to be 130 km away. Buffles me why they cannot make this eSIM adding/activating process more customer friendly by now.

I cannot complain of anything in iOS 16 RC, apart from the Weather forecast inaccuracies. Other than that, it’s been quite solid for me.

I wonder what happens if we do get a different build number tomorrow, though. Will we be offered a full sub-5GB file again, or something smaller in size, considering we are running the RC already?

I wonder if iTunes will finally get updated as well. I’d like to flash a full update to the phone… though at this point with the new phone 5 days away; might not be much of a point!

Probably the whole thing again. Just like those not on the beta path.

Backups are not functional on iOS 16 either - this really needs to get fixed tomorrow

I do hope we get a new build tomorrow, simply because in this RC I've found quite a few bugs and disadvantages. Firstly there are some things, still not translated to Russian and Ukrainian languages. Then IMO Earth Wallpaper looks so weird and low quality, I think it would be better if it were completely removed until it is fixed. Overall a list of bugs can be expanded further. Also, talking about wallpapers, I still hope, that they will return dark mode and old stills.

Call me old-fashioned, but I really do not like eSims. I’m so glad that the UK isn’t getting them just yet.

I would imagine we will be forced to have them on the iPhone 15 though.
