26.2 final customer release (not beta).

Lost all but ~ 4 safari tab groups from the list on all devices. Need to recreate all of them from scratch.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Please let me know.

Did you do a full Mac or iCloud backup before updating the software? Has this happened before where you lost you Safari Tabs when updating software?

Did you have the Safari tab enabled/on on iCloud?

For the second time during this 26 beta run, this update deleted my open pages in Safari. Fortunately nothing else. crApple strikes again!
Was Safari enabled in iCloud? If it was enabled then all your Safari Tabs should sync back to all your devices.

Well so far it’s a really nice update. It managed to delete the entirety of my safari data, i.e. bookmarks, tabs, tabgroups, reading list, and made sure to immediately sync it with the cloud, so it’s gone on all devices.
Just plain awesome
Did you have Safari enabled for iCloud and did you sync it before updating software? If you have a full Mac backup then just use that backup to get your Tabs back. Also if you have a iCloud backup then just restore from that.

On iPhones that can support iOS 26, Apple has stopped allowing new builds of iOS 18. Seen this on a few of my old iPhones. It's a bummer.

Funny thing is, Apple do not force users to install 26 on the iPad - can still get the new builds of 18 there.

Sucks as the new versions of iOS 18 are so much better than 26. I'm running the latest 18 on an XS Max - was allowed to install as it doesn't support 26.
I found a workaround on my 14 pro. Go to Settings > Updates > enable iOS 18 Public Beta updates

Once done, 18.7.3 appears! Installing now.

It is quite good here all things considered on a 17 Pro Max and battery life has been truly excellent with analytics logging disabled. I went from 80% to 77% by the end of my eight and-a-half hour workday today.
Indeed. Baddery seems to be holding up very well. Early days yet though!

So, how would I disable 'Analytics Logging'? In fact, what is 'Analytics Logging', and where would I find it?

Hello,
I'm still using iOS 18 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Are there any people who are satisfied with iOS 26.2 on this iPhone?
We're talking about CarPlay: is it really faulty on iOS 26.2?
Thank you.

Well, I can honestly say, with 26.2, my 16PM is smooth and snappy with no obvious bugs.

Have a Watch? Open the app and watch the screen-frame-skip-o-rama when scrolling down the list of prefs.

It only becomes smooth after scrolling up and down a few times, acting like it has to fill an empty screen buffer.

Next launch, it will repeat the same routine.

State of the art iP17P hardware.

Not happy. Woke up to all sorts of stutters here on there on my 17 Pro. When unlocking and swiping up, stutters and swiping to close apps to Home Screen + keyboard lag and stutters! Will do another hard reset and I’m going to turn off adaptive power mode.
