Go to Siri in settings and update ChatGPT. Then ask and it will reply 5
What do you mean “update ChatGPT?” I don’t see any option like that in settings:

I'll tell you what isn't fixed. The third party keyboard integration. There's some extra space there. It looks like an abomination.

Exhibit A. SwiftKey versus stock keyboard.

I drew an outline around the extra space. This was not an issue before iOS 26. All keyboards fit nicely into the keyboard "area".

Not when it collapses when you scroll. In the demo the skip button persisted

I think it would be way too small of an area to display most titles. Perhaps that’s why they changed it? Even with just one button, it’s still ever so slightly faded on the right side and auto-scrolls:

The issue is functionality is lost. I’m always in Music and Podcasts wanting to jab that button that we’ve all got familiar with over the past 5+ iOS releases. And now it’s regualrly not there. I think if they lost the album art that would work usability wise.

I love the rest of the OS but this really is bad and a continual annoyance if you’ve been running the betas.

That's if you had an older version of the ChatGPT app installed, 'Get' would say 'Update'...basically like it does in the App Store. But that has nothing to do with what version the Siri integration uses anyway. ChatGPT through Siri is still using GPT-4. It doesn't matter if you have the app installed or not.

I really dislike how un-glass-like the control center is. I’m assuming they are done with tweaks but it hardly looks different to iOS 18. The background of control center is darkened and blurred so heavily it’s the one place a highly transparent glass look wouldn’t have readability issues.

Everything is more or less that way now. The whole user interface is basically thick frosted transparency. There’s little to no glass effects left anyplace. Inconsistent and weird, sloppy, bad design.

Anyone know how to fix the wallpaper being dark? I’ve tried the toggle on the home screen where you change icons but that barely does anything. Sometimes it’s bright like it used to be on 18 but most of the time it’s dimmed

I think this beta being such a small version bump was just to address the zero day exploits that they released with the most recent softwares on stable channel. Everything seems the same, hopefully they will either have one more beta or the RC will address all of the visual bugs. The Home Screen icon one just kills me, how can Apple not notice that

Don’t have an eye for detail? This is clearly an unfinished product with missing effects, animations and many small oddities and visual glitches.
I certainly have thanks for asking !
I noticed some of those glitches and bugs you guys referring to, but I think it will be ironed out (hopefully), just fingers crossed

I think they reduced the frost a bit on this new beta. They didn’t bring back any glossiness or glass effect, but the frost is ever so slightly more transparent in this one, IMO. Barely noticeable but I think my notification banners are more translucent. Could be losing my mind.

Might be that you have to “Get” it before you can update it. But then it will probably be the most recent version 5 when you get it.
I think there's some confusion going on, but please correct me if I'm misunderstanding something.

People here are asking which version of ChatGPT Siri/Apple Intelligence uses when making requests, which is still GPT-4 (at least it is on my iPad using the latest beta). Using ChatGPT via Siri does not use the ChatGPT app, nor does it require the app to be installed. The ChatGPT app itself will use GPT-5 and has nothing to do with iOS 26. The app can use GPT-5 on iOS 17 and 18 as well.

What does it say when you tell Siri to ask ChatGPT what model it's using? Post a screenshot of the response ChatGPT gives Siri, like the request I've done here.

I haven’t seen it posted anywhere online but has anyone else noticed that Apple appears to have removed the fun camera filters in iOS/ iPadOS 26?

iPad floating keyboard becomes unusable in 3rd party apps until you select a different keyboard and then go back until it happens again.

Apple never promised you a personal concierge. If you're reporting things that other people have reported, why would you expect a personalized reply?
I think you misread the double negative. He's saying that 98% of what he's reporting has no similar reports, yet he only got a response on less than 1% of them.

There's a noticeable delay when swiping from the Home Screen to applications drawer on my M1 iPad Pro. It's so consistent that it almost feels like it's by design. Does anyone else experience that?
I have the same issue on a 2018 Pro. I don’t think it’s by design but I’m not sure it shouldn’t have been fixed by this time.
