Mine too but the glassy outline popping in after app closure is driving me crazy and so killing all my good feelings about iOS 26 (like the speed-up app opening animations and the general look that I really like).
To me it looks like they are lacking a solid UI framework basis to make that kind of visual design seamless. It’s very apparent that they have to work with bolting on stuff and adding layers on top of each other with leaky abstractions. Probably lots and lots of special-case coding to implement what the graphical designers cooked up.

Mine too (16 Pro). I can't reproduce this app icon redraw thing that some are complaining about. iOS 26 has felt pretty much like a release version since beta 8. No CarPlay issues, either.
Can you reproduce this issue when you set the new Liquid Glass clear app icons theme and you tap on an app it flickers black for a second and if you tap on a widget it also flickers to the default theme for a second then when you return to the Home Screen it’s dark for 1 second before returning to clear?

I can't believe this...

The visual bugs with the app re-draws as well as the app icons turning black upon tapping them when using clear or tinted app icons are still NOT fixed in this beta, wtf apple?

Such clear obvious visual bugs and not prioritized on their end?
These betas are about getting API issues ironed out. The GM will deal with everything else.

Installing betas expecting everything to be working flawlessly is not realistic, best to wait for the final release, but even then it’s likely to still have rough edges. It’s just how it is. Always has been.
The design is pretty much done now, the rc won’t have major design changes

You guys forgot that they changed the whole design language !
It’s most likely like back in times where they released iOS 7 !
And it’s way better than this !
So keep calm and live with it for a while - it will most likely get fixed.
Somewhere in the future!
As many said already in 26.1 or so.

But you are not complaining about the design, you are complaining about bugs. Bugs are normal in betas. My point is if you try betas don’t be frustrated if things aren’t 100% polished yet.

Also this is the biggest design change on iOS since iOS 7. It’s understandable things are not yet fully nailed down.

They also didn't fix the fact that on the Apple Watch, notifications that you have read will eventually disappear by themselves, even without clearing them manually. I have reported that using Feedback Assistant on beta 7 and it was acknowledged as having "more than 10" similar reports.
