I don’t think we’re getting a new build, but at least all our apps will be updated to support the iOS 26 UI like the new keyboard.

Oh no by far not all apps. Got some updates already today, also for WhatsApp. Nothing new. No new keyboard, no Liquid Glass. This will take a while for some apps.

It was broken/nonfunctional throughout the beta cycle (although it is usually broken/nonfunctional regardless) and the common response is that one has to wait for official release of iOS 26 for them to update it.
Now that iOS 26 is officially out I would like to update to the final release

I had to turn off then turn on again automatic updates for the beta update to show up, then turn off beta and iOS 26 show up at the bottom
