Clicking on a particular weather widget, e.g. Temperature, Wind or Rain will now open the relevant field in the Weather app, nice.

So I went to attach a picture to a message using the camera option from within the message thread I was in, and the thumbnail initially shows as a gray box until you actually SEND it.

100% repeatable for me.

Don’t know if anyone mentioned this, but Apple did a lot of work on landscape app layouts with iOS 27. Tested with a 16 Pro Max and 17 Pro Max, these are the apps that now support landscape orientation:

• Weather
• Reminders
• Health
• Home
• Fitness
• Apple Watch
• Voice memos
• Compass
• Shortcuts
• Passwords
• Journal
• Tips

In addition, many of the existing apps that supported landscape were updated:

General changes: Floating sidebars have been removed. Sidebars are now resizable.
Files: Removed tab bar in landscape orientation by merging recents and shared into the sidebar.
Preview: Removed tab bar in landscape orientation by merging recents, shared, and browse into the sidebar.
Will be good to see which iPhone models support landscape mode on iOS 27. I’ve always found it strange that my iPhone 11 has landscape mode on its 6.1” screen, but my iPhone 17 Pro with a 6.3” screen doesn’t.

31 hours roughly, and it’s still indexing on my 17 PM and still no access to Siri 😕

That indexing doesn’t seem to be doing sod all, because running from a 100% battery for 7 hours while sleeping I lost just 2% to 3%. Surely it must be a visual bug.

UMMMM

Apple Maps, 3D satellite view.

All flat, no 3D buildings. 😓

Legit how does noone from internal development team not notice such a bug🤣

That’s a big one

So immediately after installing. I was like hmmm. It’s not as smooth as I thought it would be. But after the indexing finally pops up and starts. It’s butter smooth

Right? Apart from some things not working quite right, like the Silent Switch in Camera (on Action Button phones) it actually feels better than any version of iOS 26 ever did. For me at least.
