iOS 26 beta 2 was significantly more broken than 27, and we still had to wait 2 weeks. I think we’re a week away from next beta still.

Dev beta 3 next week along with public beta 1, likely a revised dev beta 3 will be released later next week too. It’s happened before.

iOS 27 is really reiterating how terrible 26 was. It’s hard to believe Apple put that buggy mess out. You know 26 was bad when beta 2 of 27 is more stable and better battery.

There are several times in the past when a public beta was scheduled for July, but they seeded it in June instead. Not impossible.

When that has happened in the past, it has typically reset the two week clock, effectively leaving 3 weeks for between the original beta 2 seed and beta 3. We'll see.
