Two weeks ago we had to wait for the following day with Beta 2.. Apple, you trickyy. I hope there's alot of fixes in this beta and a new watch face for the Apple Watch. I'm in an area with really bad wifi in Atlantic City and it's telling me iOS 27 Beta 3 time remaining 1 hour.. and WatchOS 27 Beta 3 ... 2 hours remaining... 🥲

Has anyone ever seen a beta year where major functions or UI components were non-operational upon public beta release?
Currently, everyone has major problems with Shortcut automations and Search. Many people are also reporting Safari issues, though I haven’t experienced those. On a personal annoyance level, light mode glass still isn’t ready because it’s missing its specular highlights.
I would be surprised if PB1 came before DB4. What do y'all think?

Most likely public beta 1. Still on a two week cycle. Unless there’s a re release of beta 3 which sometimes happens when the public beta is released

My guess is iOS 26.6 RC tomorrow, then either a revised iOS 27 DB3, followed by PB1 a few days later, or DB4 early next week, followed by PB1.

Nothing iOS 27-wise this week. DB3 to DB4 has always been two weeks.
And PB1 will be based on DB4, just like last year, so maybe late next week or even the week of July 27th for PB1.

Awkward. I don't know why I have remembered PB1 is based on DB3.
So how we can get PB1 this week / today? It either has to be based on Beta 3, which is my intuition. Or Beta 4 will be released a week after Beta 3, which I can't see happening?
I just expect a revisited Beta 3, also released as public beta.

Last year iOS 26 PB1 was indeed based on DB4, the previous years PBs would usually come after DB3s.
So we will either have a revised DB3 first this week, followed by the PB with the same build, or both DB4 and PB1 next week, I reckon.

Made a mistake, meant that I have remembered that PB1 is based on DB3, not DB4. But yeah I checked and confirmed last year it was DB4.
I'd rather they released DB4 first, because there are issues with Safari, Music and others. However, DB3 is currently more stable overall than what they have released as public betas previous years. So I am thinking they won't delay the beta until DB4 (which would likely mean next week release + a week gap between DB4 and PB1). So let's see... I am saying a revisited Beta 3 build today with PB also today or towards mid-week.

I think last year's iOS 26 was too broken which they delayed public beta to come with beta 4.
Previous years it was always beta 3

Yeah, you could be right... I guess we'll have to sit and wait what Apple throws at us this week (or not). 😂
Do you think beta 4 and the public beta will be released today? There are performance issues in this beta at the moment

I think the public beta will be released today or tomorrow, but it’ll probably be the same build as Developer Beta 3.
