Beta 5 has obvs hit a hiccup. See it as a positive thing. Maybe we see a jump in the Siri app that’s created some problems. Or adding AI vendors has been tricky. Ether way, it’s a just a day.

I’ve had 1 on beta 1, you tried hard resetting or reinstall the beta.

(I’m not starting that one again but it works a treat..)

My gut says Thursday, and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Monday next week if the “issue” is big.

There is that. But Siri on my Ultra still can’t set timers. So they’ve got something to do.

I did a whole dfu restore and set up as new. Maybe my app flow or constant use is causing it, who knows

Oh really. Good effort! Yeah that should of given your phone a great reinstall clearing away any pesky bugs doing that process can help.

Yeah I mean we are all unique with our phones, apps and settings… combinations create things.

There is that. But Siri on my Ultra still can’t set timers. So they’ve got something to do.

Agreed!!! Siri on my Ultra and Series 10 is dumber than a post. In addition to not setting reminders (and timers), it tries to confirm things several times, then gives up. WatchOS needs an update. This is a big error even for a beta vesrion.

For example, "was that Trash Bags, Trail Tags, or Hash Tags"? I reply "Trash Bags". Siri then replies, ""was that Trail Tags, or Hash Tags"? This continues on...

Anyway, I digress. I hope then new betas come out soon, but agree they need to wait if they have some issue they are cleaning up.

Still can’t get my case to update to the previous firmware…

Yeah, macOS is terrible. Although the battery life on iOS is not great either.

I mean “abomination” is a pretty full on end of world terminology. It’s very rough around the edges agreed, we are on beta, but it’s certainly on the right tracks and has answered better than Gemini at times. I’m not really going to form much of an opinion yet, base on something that’s half baked.

Abomination? Naaaah. Old Siri certainly was and for many years. New Siri is a young child with a highly accelerated growth rate. I've found her answers on par with other bots, but far superior when dealing with on device queries. Excited for future enhancements and capabilities esp paired with the new A20 AI focused chip. I never used the old Siri for anything other than setting timers.

this would be crazy and has never happened before but I guess it is possible... holding out hope for a release in 30 min.
