My guess unfortunately beta 5 drops Monday August 10th. Hopefully your jury duty is over by then.

I don’t think we’ll see it this week at this point. I’m guessing we’ll get a rare 3 week release for DB5.

If I remember correctly, the big Apple news spot was macsurfer in those days. But nothing will ever top Pournell's (sp?) original rumors page in Byte!
Just like it should be. Pure speculation.

It has to be this week. They had frequent betas with iOS 12 which was the last optimization-focused release.

I would rather wait longer for a more polished and feature rich beta 5, then Apple rushing the release.

Well we’re in weekly beta territory now, so beta 6 is going Monday anyway

It’s possible! But maybe less likely since they obviously had some big crash / data loss going on and are maybe a bit more careful to roll this out
That’s a big assumption since we have no idea what’s causing the delay, if it is a delay.

Putting my phone in the fridge now so it’s cold enough to download and install the beta in 2 hours…
I had to do that twice too on DB4!
Let’s say DB5 comes out today. Is there precedent for DB6 also coming out only 5 days later, or is it more likely to come out a week later if DB5 comes out today/tomorrow?
