Jesus the "backing up iPhone" bar is moving SO slow. At this rate it's going to take hours to backup. Anyone else taking this long?

I always transfer my entire camera roll to my pc or mac because iTunes likes to eff things up often times

Obviously, yes. Then again, the iPhone backup always takes a long time on the first new backup. Keep in mind that the normal backup when you connect to iTunes is an incremental backup onto the last major OS update; this one is a full backup in preparation for iOS 4. In my case, that's 8 GB I'm backing up--those of you with larger memory are going to take noticeably longer.

It is amazing how slow the backup is taking! If I click STOP, can I come back to it another day or will it brick my iPhone?
