iOS 5 bugs list

I can't get YouTube videos to play if click the link from safari on ipad2, the app switches to YouTube app but the video just says loading, if I find the same video in the YouTube app it works fine. Tried on iphone4 with no problems, just iPad. Anyone care to try it on theirs?

you have to install the native app, otherwise there is no app to push notifications to you. when you sign into twitter in the settings menu, that just enables the baked in ability to tweet links and photos, etc, which is what it is supposed to do. if it gave you a push notification for a mention and you didn't have the app installed, where is the notification meant to take you to show you the tweet?! lol.

- Opening the camera app from the lock screen, then going back to the homescreen means that the camera app is still open. You'll notice this as everything is really really slow and laggy. Typing is laggy, Safari scrolling is really slow (might also be the cause of bad battery). Quitting the camera from the 'multitask bar' instantly restores device speed.
- (more of a peeve) If you have one item in your notification lock screen, it's really hard to hit the right spot to activate the drag/activate box.

your lagging issues, did you restore from a backup after installing iOS 5? cos that's probably your problem, i had lag doing that, so restored and set up as new and no lag at all.

as for the dragging on notification, if you press for half a sec then drag it seems to react a bit better, but i assume this will get sorted before release

it's a special folder just for subscriptions, i just did what i have done with the stocks app and moved it to the last home screen on its own. Simples.
 
There's lag all over the place. Not major but it's noticable. I don't really mind since it's a beta and, as I think with every major update, the software is basically being designed for a device that isn't out yet, and only then being made to work on current devices. If it lags on the 5 I'll complain.

as i said above, did you set up as new once installing iOS 5 or restore from a backup? as that's probably why. since doing it totally as a clean install, it's not lagged at all
 
Sounds start to fade after a while (keyboard clicks, SMS send, lock/unlock). Work fine after restarting.

On a side note, my iphone4 keeps giving me two notifications from last Thursday at random times, I've already dismissed and responded to these notifications (eBay and Facebook) but they keep popping up randomly as banners and then in notification centre.

i have an iPT3g 64gb. completely clean install since i was jailbroken. previously. but i just cant even use anything from the headphone jack. cant play it in my car or anything

restoring it again, right now. we'll see what happens.

odd, well my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 both run fine

restored. completely. Added 25 songs. plugged in headphones. pressed a song, and it just crashed. so looks like im going back to 4.3.3

i actually just recorded it. and about 5 seconds after headphone plug-in it crashes. idk. gayy

Any idea why my notifications are not working except for call, text, mail.

Not twitter, facebook or anything else shows up in the notification center.

text, mail, and calls are apple apps. the other apps you mentioned are apps that need to be updated by the developer to work properly with the new ios5. keep in mind the developers didn't get the new ios any sooner then we did = ) updates should start rolling out before the official release

that's what I thought but I figured at least twitter would work because it's one of the main features. I've asked a few other testers who are getting notifications from facebook and espn too.

twitter is one of the main features,, but it still asks you to download the app from the app store when you set it up, so its still the non-updated app people are installing. i'd imagine twitter will be one of the first app updates available

I'm having the same issue with calendar. I can't see certain calendars on my iPhone but everything is fine in iCal on my computer... Sucks!

I wasn't getting any notifications other than SMS until I rebooted my phone...now I have gotten every single single notification 😉

wrong, i'm getting notifications from all my apps in the notification centre, apps do not need to be updated for this. i'm getting notifications from spotify, facebook, beejive, pingchat, skype, ancestry.com, ebay and angry birds.

Edit: Just tested twitter and i'm getting notifications from that.
