"Apps that have requested the ability to share data via Bluetooth will appear here. These apps can share data even when you're not using them."

Woah.

WOAH indeed!! Jobs was not kidding about being fanactical about privacy (See All Things Digital, last appearance interview)! Bravo.

Coming from the days of feature phone bluejacking, I was just like the rest of immature lads having wild fun. Sending an invite from my Ericsson T-39m to a MacBook on the GO Transit ... "BONUS: Get a free months pass to ride the GO Transit if you show this message to the operator within the next 30mins". (The drive from Toronto to Hamilton was roughly 65mins, the time sent left about 35mins left before arrival). Dude jumped up like a jack-rabbit to show the bus driver. I then realized how dangerous having this guy disrupt the drivers attention could've put all 40 passengers lives at risk. This was 7yrs ago.

I'm guessing by this setting Apple may have noticed a few applications continuously accessing/sharing data without users knowledge. This will ALSO further reduce battery life.

On the lock screen, if you keep pressing the home button to activate Siri, the "slide to unlock" bar drops down instead of the whole screen going up, as (I think) it used to do. Not a new feature or improvement though.

Not really, it means I'm signed into a different Google account, and have to keep signing in again every time I clear cookies in Safari.

It means that Google will now be able to track you via online ads now, as you stay signed in, in the browser.

It probably means that background audio isn't going to work nearly as well, as Safari has a tendency to stop playing audio when run in the background with a number of tabs open.

It probably also means that links will continue to open in Safari even once Google launches their official YouTube app.

I agree that the YouTube app was not ideal, and was in need of updating. (complete lack of playlist support, for example) But removing it altogether is terrible.

No, the lock bar slides down and the rest of the screen goes up. It always did that.

Has Safari a unified address/search field? Because this is quite annoying, once you get used to having only the single field in the desktop version of Safari.

the search bar is still there but if you type a search query in the address bar it will use your search engine and go to the first result automatically

Didn't someone hack the GO train's LED "next station" boards once? I seem to remember those were Bluetooth, or maybe it was WiFi...?

Passbook now in cellular sync options.

I use speak selection a lot. I've never seen dialects. Can anybody confirm this are iOS 6 b4 specific? - Thanks

Auto Brightness.

Don't think this is new on the b4, but I just took a look at Auto-Brightness really closely.

It increases screen brightness perfectly when getting from dark area to bright, and gradually decreases brightness back to user-set level (IMO too slow). But it WON'T darken the screen further than user-set level!

Now I keep my brightness setting at the least and let Auto do the work. HA!

I think dialects have been there.

I saw Passbook but I also thought that was from earlier releases.

On previous 2 betas ability to connect to a shared library in the video app was broken. It's now fixed; and the name of the movie is now retained at the bottom of the thumbnail. Still no search ability though :( I've put countless requests in for that :(

are you able to share a photo from the lockscreen camera now when you don't have a password set?

Removal of YouTube app is going to really tick some people off, myself included

Why, when you just access it through Safari instead now.

The You Tube app hadn't been updated in years and hopefully Google's own You Tube app will be much better than the old You Tube app, which has remained the same since 2007.

Google are working on their own You Tube app at present.

The reason for the removal is due to the licensing running out.

Well finally the horrible Youtube App is gone. When you want to watch a Youtube video, as in clicking on a link, how does that act now?

It just opens in Safari. See the below post for more details.
