Like I said, it may not be related to the update. Any ideas?

My guess would be these are more app related issues, I think we may see some app updates soon.

----------

It was just released and you don't have it on all of your devices but it is the fastest, most secure and reliable mobile operating system ever released? And you're very impressed without using it?

He never said if he was testing the betas. He could have been using it for months for what you know!

Anyway, from my own experience I have not noticed any big difference between beta 5 and this final release!! And I don't like the implementation with a thumbnail photo when making/receiving a call! Everything else seems ok.

My Experience:

Holy ****, this thing is fast. iOS on almost two year old hardware is now nearly as my Nexus 5, which is really an amazing feat.

Next thing on the to do list for Apple: Bigger Screen. That's the only reason use my Nexus.

I like the screen size of the iPhone but cant' stand the fact of form over function mentality of Apple where some fonts are in 4 point etc. There is plenty of screen real estate to provide menu items with larger fonts. Apple again over looked this. For this reason, I hope that if a larger iPhone or whatever comes out, Apple will consider larger menu item fonts to go with it rather than an "emptier, prettier" screen. - COUGH.

White wallpaper is not white on home screen!!!

Just upgraded this morning. All seems well so far on my iPad Air. Not sure if I like the new keyboard though with thicker, bolder keys. Can this be turned off?

I installed on my iPhone 5s and my retina iPad mini last night. So far I'm really impressed. No crashes on the iPhone, no strange stretching of the icons when returning to the home screen, etc. As for the iPad, it's the first time I've actually liked it. I've hardly used it since buying it (on release day) as iOS 7.0.x was awful on it. It's great now! :)

Faster and more stable.

Although...

* They've reduced the translucency in Control Center which is a shame
* The font/text in favorites from Contacts looks blurry
* Control Center from the lock screen is not as smooth as it is once you've unlocked the phone

Other than that I don't really have anything to complain about.

Wow, it's fast. Animations are great and for me, they are just the right speed now. Used the Phone a few times and I really don't mind the smaller buttons, the contact photos are a mistake though. I hope Apple receive enough feedback that they revert the changes in the next update.

Unlike some users, I like the updated the keyboard. I've gotten used to the new shift key and it works very well. No misunderstanding there.

It's also fixed the issue (iPhone 5s only I think) where an app would "jump", as I called it, back into place when using multitasking which is great as that was very annoying!

Touch ID is also faster and I've had no springboard crashes.

Overall, yes, it took a long time, a very long time for a point update but so far, it was worth the wait, dare I say it!?!

It seems like you were having the exact same annoying issues with your 5s as me. The icons jumping really annoyed me, as did the regular crashes, etc. iOS 7.1 seems to have fixed all of these AND added a pretty substantial speed boost. I set my iPhone 5s and retina iPad mini up as new devices last night and they finally feel as fast as they should have done all along! It was definitely worth the wait! That said, it still took too long... :D

Yes, for me, the apps jumping was the most annoying bug, even more so than the crashes believe it or not! Yes, the speed boost is definitely welcome. You can do everything so much faster now. It really is a good update.

Genius Mixes

Is anyone having problems with Genius Mixes in iOS 7.1? I get no album artwork and no response once I tap on the play button. This is on iPad Air clean install. Thanks.
