Awesome. Apple has its mojo again. Even in the keynote, they seem so confident.
However, lets first witness the forum users first heavily scrutinise the new design, then mock it, then accuse apple of copying Samsung.
As far as quick replies go, you can always create keyboard shortcuts (settings > general > keyboard) for as many quick replies as you need.
Nah, that's not what we are talking about. We are talking about being able to respond from the notification, so we wouldn't have to leave the app we are in to respond to a message. It's a really useful feature if you like gaming or watching movies on your iPhone.
That, and unfortunately, it seems like it will be as restrictive as iOS6 ie. no default apps, not lock screen customizations, etc etc.
That would be me. The ability to dump Newsstand into a folder with all the other apps I don't want is nice. Even nicer would be the ability to hide apps I don't want to see, like android does and BlackBerry did several years ago. If you use it that's great. I don't and don't want it cluttering up the screen.
I'm sure it will be fine in use but DAMN iOS 7 is freaking UGLY!!! And before people start yelling Troll, I very much like apple products and own many. I wish they has removed the excess skeuomorphism but left some gloss and reflection and 3D.
That would be a part of the tracking cellular per app. You can disable it for any app, including the App Store.
There are still some bugs, but overall it's decent for a beta. I still think the icons need some work and folders definitely need some work. A whole screen of gray squares doesn't look good. I don't know why they don't make it transparent.
I guess I was hoping for something similar to this: Image
I think icons with raised elements and shadows would look cool. Could add the perspective effect so the shadow changes based on the light sensor.
i signed out via the settings and when you open it it asks for the password. So one sign out seems to be enough.
I do not see it. I only see reading list.
I do like how you can set to private browsing within safari rather than having to go to settings.
Yes he would have said people don't need quick access to wifi and Bluetooth. Or anything on the lock screen but the time and date. That's why we didn't get useful features like that when he was around.
Any word on if notification banners still block your back button. Can anyone post a screen of one? Super-curious about that.
Panoramic wallpaper does not work for me.
Any more customisation of Do not Disturb? Finer grained controls would make this little feature perfect.
Are you using an iPhone 5? It might not be enabled for the 4/4S. Also, was the panorama taken on the built in camera? It might require that. Otherwise, file a bug report.
And you can put Newsstand inside folders.Don't forget 'folders' now have endless amount of pages nowYou're no longer limited to 9 apps per folder on the iphone.
When you go to the Background options in Settings you have to pick the wallpaper from the Panorama album, not your camera roll.Panoramic wallpaper does not work for me.
why is there no button to close all apps?![]()

I hate that we only get 6 skips even for paid versions.I don't understand the reasoning for limiting skips... But spotify does it too on the free version

I am on an iPhone 5 and I just took a panorama of about 20 feet in my garden using the new camera app in IOS 7 and the wallpaper barely moves. I wish it looked like it does in that vine.
I think it's a no brainer to realise this is a beta. You're free to email bug reports etc.Still can't believe Apple can't get the Weather app icon to show the correct forecast/temp. Seems like a no-brainer.
Good argument but between WiFi and LTE I've never not had an internet connection. What happens when you don't have connection? It will start showing an incorrect forecast. Better to be a generic icon than an unreliable one. Clock or calendar obviously does not have the same dependance on internet connection.
