iOS 8 Beta 4 Bug Fixes and Changes

can somebody file a bug regarding the audiobook chapters (if they are still not a feature), and a bug regarding the scrubbing (moving the finger across the scrub bar from below to above causes the scrub bar to go crazy.)? I do not have access to iOS betas.

Happens to me too. I can't add anything but letters.

And yet you are experiencing bugs?

That happened to me as well. I also had the problem with phone call coming in as the phone numbers and not the contact names. However after about 10 minutes I was getting the names. Perhaps iCloud just needed to update my phone.

Yeah, iCloud needed to bring over my contacts, then I was good..

Am I the only one having issues with Find My Friends and the location feature in Messages? It's never locating any of my friends, saying their locations are unavailable.
 
I am still having wifi issues. Connectivity will hang and I'll have to disable wifi to use data.

Are you using the new find my friends app? 4.0 I think is in the dev center. It was working fine for me in the app and in messages.

The color is dependent on your background image. Nothing new here. Same as all transparency effects introduced in iOS 7.

Yeah. Mine was thrown to Entertainment folder
 
One change for me is that my iPad 2 no longer picks up the phone calls that are destined for my phone.

I cannot turn on Cellular calls unless FaceTime & iCloud are signed in to the same Apple ID. Which is awkward as I use two Apple ID's (legacy for purchases and till now FaceTime, and @me.com ID for iCloud). This was working in Beta 3.

iPad 2 performance has gotten much worse than Beta 3, it feels like its back to Beta 2 performance levels (lots of lag/hanging)

Sorry, I misspoke, I meant to say I do not have access to apple's website. It and the app store is blocked at all the places I have access to the internet. That said, can somebody file a bug report?
 
Not sure if it's already been mentioned but I thought in previous beta's the status bar was the same size on the Lock and Home screen.

It's back to how it was before in beta 4, the status bar in the Lock screen is larger than the Home screen status bar.
 
*BUG*

Adding contacts from email locks up iPhone 5s
Talking a photo during a iMessage locks up the screen and leaves it blurry.

I can get the first one to happen, but haven't had any issues with your second bug. Might want to do a hard reset.
 
I wonder if Apple uses these threads to determine what they need to fix and improve for the next beta. I'm sure more people post here than they do submitting bug reports.
 
Not sure if this is a bug since Beta 1-3, but there's some animation bug when you tap a folder to expand it open. Pay attention to the corners of the folder after tapping and it expanded to fill up the screen, there's a split second adjustment to the border of the folder after opening, which I believe does not exist in iOS 7.

Added: it's a very minute bug. I am not annoyed by it. Don't flame me please, just wanna if anyone else has noticed it.
