It's a short term reservation. Buttons show up when stocks appear in their system. Then disappear when all units are reserved.

I believe they start updating at 9pm every day (heard an employee giving guidelines).

Has anyone in Canada had theirs exchanged for backlight bleed? Mine has it a little bit, but I don't want to exchange incase I get a worse one... but sitll bothers me a little. Just wondering how they handle this situation in Canada?
Or do any of you have the issue? Ill post a picture later.

Mine is in the process of being replaced. I got my iPad2 last Friday at Futureshop and noticed the light bleed so I made an appointment at Genius. The guy from Apple Store said that bleeding was not acceptable so he placed a replacement iPad2. He will call me as soon as the replacement arrives at the Apple Store. If I don't hear back from them before 14 days, I will just return my iPad at Futureshop for full refund and wait until this issue has been resolved.

It is updated each evening at 9 PM, last night they seemed to have a good supply of just about everything. I am heading to the store this morning to pick up the one I reserved last night. Will post with how the process works upon return.

Does all store stock go on reservation so no point in just going to a store in morning?

Any chance that they update BEFORE 9pm or is it always only at 9pm?? Are there updates daily? When did this reservation thing begin??

Good system hope they use it on all big releases,
maybe have line ups for 2-3 days then online only.

I believe this is a great system, no line ups that disrupt normal business and customers don't have to hang around for hours waiting. I don't think they have adopted this yet in the US, anyone know for sure??

Yes, they do:

When I first heard it from Yorkdale I also checked US retail store page to let my b-i-l know.

You are absolutely right about not disrupting normal business. I always wondered about folks who had the time to go and stand in the line for such long hours.

Anyone looking for ipad 2 in Ottawa, check FS and Best Buy

I was there (Southkeys location) today and was able to buy a 16gb Black Wifi and the guy behind me was able to buy a 64gb Black Wifi

Anyone found some Calgary stock (looking for 16gb black wifi)

I had horrible light bleed on my nook color that i got a few weeks ago. a large part of the left bottom corner actually glowed almost a greenish tint. now i don't even notice it. maybe it improved by itself who knows.

i've got an ipad 2 still unopened.. waiting for my case and screen protector to arrive (yeah I'm OCD).

I've had my iPad1 for a year without a screen protector, and not a single scratch on it. Carried it everywhere, even dropped it a few times.
