Picked mine up on Saturday (Canada). I got lucky, walked into a BestBuy and walked out 5 min later with a 16GB Black Wifi :D

I liking it a lot more than the original iPad, the weight and speed makes a big difference.

Got mine yesterday

FaceTime is really cool
Cameras are nice to have but have so-so quality
Smart cover is a HUGE improvement over the original iPad case
New design is very nice
Haven't had a chance to download any CPU intensive apps, but there is a major speed increase in GarageBand

In my opinion a nice upgrade

I was gifted one by my wife on my Birthday just a few days ago! Amazing device! Love Facetime and all the other apps. Love the screen and physical design of the tablet. Fantastic all around. BUT I have one MAJOR gripe:

WHERE IS THE CLOCK, WEATHER, AND STOCKS APP APPLE???

You know, there's an app for that(tm) :p

BTW. Waiting for my White iPad... White is the new Black...

I think the screen is a huge step back especially against the first one, very washed out a drab

Not a chance. Side by side, at varying degrees of brightness, iPad 2's screen is slightly more vibrant, has slightly better contrast, and is a little bit more crisper than the iPad 1.

Here's mine...64GB Wi-Fi model black. At first I got the blue smart cover, but switched to the orange instead. I think black and orange go together better.

As for protection, I installed BSE on the back, and SGP Ultra Clear film on the screen. It worked great. Also got the Incase case when I'm out and about. I love my iPad 2. Glad I sold my iPad 1. :D

I finally got the last pieces of my jigsaw:
Bodyguardz full skin.
Leather Smart Cover (tan).
10" neoprene netbook sleeve for travelling.
Digital AV & HDMI Adapter.

Rock solid with no fingerprints to worry about. No qualms about scuffs and scratches, whilst maintaining the awesome thinness.
Peace of mind is a great thing. :apple:

That's kind of the same thing I got for mine--front screen protector and back cover, though I may skip the back cover for now, as the one I bought on eBay requires "slightly soapy water" to apply correctly. Instead of the smart cover, I bought a traditional wraparound case, and then a zip up folio case for traveling. Now if my iPad would actually come in, I could actually use all that stuff.

i just don't get that. "Protective Skin! Apply with soapy water!"

sounds like "Bullet proof vest! Apply with Flamethrower!"

Hehe. I didn't mean more Smart Cover colours, I mean imagine if the iPad 2's themselves came in other, pastel colours.

MMMmmm... yes. that would cause many issues because I'd want a collection of a few colors and well that might cause some issues at the bank since I'd have to rob it. KIDDING...

Im loving my white ipad 2! All the other tablets on the market are black which is a boring color lol:p
