Looks pretty sweet. Glad I chose that iPad/Cover colour combo! (now to wait for Apple to ship them...)
Ah you have to text the catalogue number to 61201. All out of stock around my area, brilliant.

No iPad for me today... Lined up outside Western Computer (Swindon's Premium Reseller) at 4pm, with about 20 people in front of me.
Get to 4:45, and a guy comes out saying "I have to inform you that there is limited stock, and you might be unable to purchase the one that you want." I thought that i'd be alright, seeing as I wanted a Wi-Fi 32GB Black.
I got to about four from the tills, and heard that they had ran out of Wi-fi 32GB Black and Wi-fi 16GB White, but the guy in front of me still managed to get a white one.
So after an hour and a half of queueing, I get there only to find I couldn't get one... I was the first person to not be able to buy the one that they wanted. They didn't think to count stock and take note of which iPads people wanted, then let other people queued that they couldn't get one.
But at least now i've got an order arriving on Monday from Comet

But in terms of returns and support isn't it better to get from Apple? Theyve always been excellent with issues even out of the 14 days. What's the deal with Tesco and returns?I bet it will be a nightmare dealing with them and a spotty kid at the counter.

Well, yet again I'm reminded that my nick is really so suitable!!
I tried to order at 2am this morning - one click mayhem etc etc and had an order confirmation page etc .. No confirmation from apple, no trace of order in account details so re-ordered the long way at 7.20 which went straight through with confirmation email too.
Credit card companies contacted me this morning regarding possible fraud la la la .. apparently on the one-click order it had gone through FOUR times so they helpfully cancelled/refused them all. The other credit card company just phoned to confirm the one 7.20am order which was fine.
Got in after being out all day and read the forum .. Decided to check the currys website and have now ordered there for a 3 - 5 day delivery which is way before the 26th of April from Apple!! Not cancelling the apple order until Currys one arrived safely though, I'm not generally a Currys fan! If anything is wrong with it I'll go straight to apple (which was fine with a previous apple product).
This may actually work (not going to hold my breath just yet though!)

Picked up a 64GB 3G from Argos arndale, easiest thing ever. Walked in at 4pm, asked what stock they had. Only one 3G in the store, so I put a hold on it (not a reservation through the computers, they just put it on the side with my name on it). Went for a coffee, came back at 5 and picked it up.
May have missed the Apple store fun, but I didn't spend half the day queuing with the risk of being disappointed. Easy!

Got my White 3G 32gb from 3 reduced as well as existing customer, really easy no waiting so happy.
Cancelled apple order but I think those orders will ship quicker than 2-3 weeks as places like tesco direct can be ordered now with delivery next day.
Surely if these all have stock the online shop must also have some in UK to send out.

Cheers for that. I stayed up and ordered at 00.30 this morning from Apple - will cancel (when apple's website lets me in to my account) as I've now ordered from Tesco with the discount, quidco and clubcard points.
Can't wait for Monday...
I know its not a camera... and I have my iPhone 4, and my SLR before anyone chirps up......

Log in to the US site apple.com to cancel your order, much easier and no problems with the site over there, that's what I did just after 5pm
Ordered black 64gb 3g and 32gb 3gb at 00.40 this morning, decided not to bother queueing all day as I needed to get a new wheel put on my car (figured it was more important).
Heard about the Argos text reservations at about 14:30 and managed to reserve the last 64gb 3g at my local store, waited till 17:00 and managed to order a 64gb 3g and 32gb 3g from JL.com for collection tomorrow.
Went and picked up the Argos reservation at 17:15, syncing now.

How long doe sit take for apple to refund or release the money back if I decided to cancel my order?
Still no change to apple timescales I could go and get one tomorrow but apple has my cash
