Can't remember if it was from an official source but *somewhere* said that they wouldn't release pricing info until the release date. That may mean we don't get pre-orders over here.

Not sure why the delay with announcing pricing outside the US.

Apple wont release a price until the last minute because of exchange rate volatility between the USD and GBP. They probably don't know the price yet.

1) Exchange rate isn't going to alter the price of an iPad more than a few pence at the very most between now and the end of the month

2) Takes more than 3 weeks to co-ordinate an international launch, Apple know exactly when they are launching the iPad in the EU, for some reason they just aren't bothering to tell us

If that's the 16Gb Wifi - I will use Bundle Box, so I can save over £100 or $152 - working for that money isn't easy as a student!

All incoming packages to the UK get checked by Customs now, so you'll be liable for a charge of probably around £85-100 anyway when it gets searched. You'll save nothing, but cause yourself a whole load of hassle. I don't think it's worth it.
