Moot point bc I think most ppl are returning their Mini 6 anyway, because of disappointing features. Apple fail.

Anyone remember when Steve was in charge and you genuinely thought he wanted the best experience for users, instead of penny-pinching Timothy....
Yeah, and we had the antennagate issue with the iPhone 4 and Jobs tried to tell us that we were holding it wrong rather than admit that there was a fault!

How serious is it if you need frame by frame to show it? I don’t have the mini so have no idea. Is this working as intended or really is a bug or oversight.

You don’t need to do frame-by-frame or in slow or fast mode. People are presenting it in different ways on video to clearly show it. In person, it’s extremely noticeable.
Interesting, too, is that I’ve seen a few people post their own videos to prove they don’t have it, when in fact, you can see it in their videos. I truly believe that some people can’t perceive it - maybe due to their brain “correcting” what they are seeing. That, or they’re blind af. Hahaha jk. I wish I was one of those who can’t see it or at most, barely see it. But I noticed it almost immediately.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the "gate" of this issue.

Wait for it......

Jello-gate.

This all has shades of iPad Pro blooming, where people were doing ridiculous things to see it. I don't doubt some do have it under normal use. But as we know from bloomgate, videos can misrepresent what people are seeing, both pro and con.

I bet the refresh scan lines go across up-down in landscape so what you're seeing is some lines updating just slightly before others when it's vertical.

I absolutely see it on my iPad Mini. Doesn’t really bother me though. Looks kinda cool lol
I notice it on all the iPad mini 6s I have. It’s the new “rubber banding scroll” in iOS 15.

I am curious to know if the shipped version of iOS 15 shows this or if the update causes it or makes it worse. Unfortunately I updated all 😢

I have the latest Dev beta on mine, and it still does it. My guess is it is software related.

You dont have to do anything ridiculous just scroll up and down a centimeter or so back and forth. I dont really mind it because I dont read while scrolling like that lol.

I sort of doubt that "most people are returning their Mini 6 anyway". I am quite enjoying mine, its a great fit for the purposes I got it.
I am on the fence for my three until Apple provides a response and fix.

I read while I scroll but it’s not that fast, however at times I do scroll and glance through websites or photos, etc and it’s very noticeable.

Does it do it rotated 180 degrees in portrait mode? Maybe screen was mounted upside down so just use the Mini 6 upside down to correct it.
