iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

UPS just rang the doorbell, and as I walked by the window to open the door, I saw my FedEx guy walking up the driveway with my 2nd mini. :D UPS guy told FedEx guy, "I beat you!" Ha! UPS also had my 2 cases from Amazon. Good times. :apple:

Good luck to everyone else. Hope all targeted for 11/2 deliveries get their devices.

Waiting for delivery later today

Mine shows it is on the truck now. Black 16GB.

Already got my Verona case from Amazon, and it looks great. Better than I expected for such a low price. Anyway, now I just need the iPad to put inside it.

Well, well. I now sit and watch the UPS truck drive slowly by with no iPad mini for me.

So sad. :mad:

As Annie says - Tomorrow is only a day away.

I should just go to the store, buy one, and then let them make a few delivery attempts before refusing.

Should I call Apple to complain? Will I get a freebie?

UPS in the DC area is a piece cr@p. I'll be surprised if we even get it on Saturday. I don't know why apple decided to use UPS this time. My iPads from previous years have always been delivered on time same day in the morning by FedEx.
 
Just got mine delivered and am replying with my new mini!! It's an amazing device and I'm so glad I preordered!! I hope everybody gets theirs on time :)
 
Sadly UPS usually doesn't get to my house until after 4:00pm cst. So Im just reading all the good info from those of you who already have yours.

Correct you were sir! My package was delivered on what I would assume was the second pass, or pick-up route, by FedEx a little after 1. It's waiting for me at "home" (I live above said business they were delivering it to). woot!!

I'm debating on stopping reading any of the iPad forums after I open mine. I don't want to be brainwashed into seeing "issues" with the device that these forums are notorious for over emphasizing. I realize sometimes there are legit flaws and defects, but I'll find them for myself. Hopefully they're all beautiful.

Yea I'm gonna have to agree. Once I get mine. I will stop reading and posting on this forum. If I have problem. I'll just go to the Apple store instead of complaining it here.
 
Still out for delivery. Leaving for work in 10 mins. Had to pre-sign.
Thankfully it isn't Halloween with a bunch of hooligans coming up to my door before I get home and swiping my Mini lol.
 
Waiting in Toronto

UPS tracking says my iPad 4 black is still in Concord. Anyone from Toronto receive their package without having the UPS site update the delivery status?
 
"Your item has been dropped off at a local UPS Store"

WTF?? It went out for delivery, and now it says it got dropped off at a UPS store in a city about 25 minutes from me.

I called UPS and they are trying to figure it out, and they said they would call within the hour. Im leaving for vegas within the hour.

SO odd. Did anyone else get this?

Yep, mine was saying Destination Scan for in Concord all day. Delivered today at 12:40pm in Toronto (North York) with no notice.
 
It's here!! I love the size- bigger than my Kindle Touch but smaller than my friend's ipad 2. Wish the case would get here soon since its so perfect and I don't want to scratch it!!

Delivered about two hours ago as expected. iCloud transfer to new pad complete although still downloading some bigger apps. Really enjoying the size and weight. Impressive packing and boxing.

Ah thanks - then there is still hope for a happy ending when I return home and ask my neighbour (aka. UPS recipient) if it arrived. Fingers crossed.
