Where does it say this? I have been trying to look on their website for this policy but cannot find it!The return period is now January (because of the holidays) so your accusation rings hollow.

I fail to see the connection, you suggested him to use the iPod to run iPad apps.... of course there will pe some for the Pro, but it wasn't the point. And some apps have features that are optimized for the iPad Pro (oh, yeah, and the Pencil).
I went to the Bromley store in the UK at 9am and asked about the iPad Pro, pencil and keyboard. After talking to a few managers and making a call, they said I can buy the iPad and pencil but would have to wait till they unpacked the keyboards. I walked away with the 128 grey Wifi with pencil.
That's what I got, though I opted for free delivery on Monday. Disappointing, but with three infants and a three-year-old to care for (au pair arrives tomorrow from the Czech Republic!), and Thanksgiving (US) coming up, and my new Apple TV and my new iMac 27" retina to distract me, those 3-4 weeks will fly by.
My iPad Air got broken during the move back in May, and I decided to wait on the Pro to replace it. It will be nice to have an iPad again.
Its on the receipt, all purchases now at Apple have a January return date.Where does it say this? I have been trying to look on their website for this policy but cannot find it!![]()
The pencil and keyboard where available from the store I picked up mine this morning at 9am London, UK time. It would have been a deal breaker if they didn't have the accessories.
Got mine this morning. View attachment 599255 View attachment 599256
Can you post a picture to confirm? Just called Apple twice and both times they said 14 daysIts on the receipt, all purchases now at Apple have a January return date.
I don't have the receipt to post, but I saw in another thread someone posting that Apple has switched over to the holiday return period. Can you post a picture to confirm? Just called Apple twice and both times they said 14 days
I've called Apple 3 times now. They all say 14 days. I want you to be right but how can I believe with every apple employee saying different?I don't have the receipt to post, but I saw in another thread someone posting that Apple has switched over to the holiday return period.
With a wacom tablet you can. Many people right now are using laptops and desktops to produce mind blowing art, animations and drawings.
I don't understand your confusion. If you want to run OSX apps then you'd buy the Macbook. I want to run iOS apps on a large screen so I'll buy the iPad Pro. I don't need another notebook.
Sure and how can you compare a wacom device to ipad? iPad would just fail.Sure, but you need a Wacom device. With iPad Pro, you just need the Pencil. Huge difference in terms of portability, I would think.
I see the Pencils are now 3-4 weeks shipping doesn't appear to be an online option to check store availability. Anyone having much luck with store inventory or are they really this constrained on this accessory
Yeah seems odd, its like they didn't make enough. My head about exploded when I saw the pencil would take a few days so I decided to wait to get to the store and now it is 3-4 weeks!!!! The pencil is WHY I wanted the iPad pro so much...oh well. I am a patient person.
That's probably true. However, I fully expect to see availability improve. Of all the things Apple makes, this is the least exotic in terms of construction. Mainly plastics, doesn't seem to contain any unusual electronics. So Apple likely underestimated the initial demand for the Pencil, and by increasing production should easily improve those delivery times.Yeah seems odd, its like they didn't make enough.
Woke up at 8am. Ordered for pickup at my store, and picked it up at 10am when the store opened. I will probably get the Pencil for Christmas. This thing is basically a bigger iPad with more speed. Exactly what I wanted. I will be returning the Air 2 that I just purchased and keeping this one.
I agree to a point. As someone who spends about half their computing time with a wacom pen in hand, the iPad pro could become a replacement if there is a good sync with creative cloud that would allow you to bounce back and forth.Sure and how can you compare a wacom device to ipad? iPad would just fail.
So no Pencils in stock at the store when you went? Or a conscious decision on your part to wait for it? Very curious about US store availability.
Oh no! No pencils? Anyone think that I can pre-order one at AT&T? I was going to finance one through them so I imagine they should at least have SOME stock right?
Someone had a pencil when I picked mine up at the store. They were next week shipping when I did my order around 7 EST though.Pencils were always a ship next week in the US, I think. Now you will be waiting until Christmas because delivery is mid December.
