Nope we still end up paying an extra $32 on the pencil.

I really really wish that us UK people would do a bit more research before complaining about price. Same arguments come around every time any new consumer electronics get launched.£679 in uk
$799 in US
Google '799 usd in gbp'
£527.41
Thanks, Apple!
I think you missed the irony somewhat - but I changed it now.. Just so it's clearer.
You are not an artist. Of course it's not for you. Btw, Air 2 can't even hold the candle to this 4GB of RAM and A10 quad core chip.Waste of money! Your basically paying double the price of an iPad Air 2 for a larger screen and a pencil! Haha! Im a massive fan of Apple and buy everything they release but this is a joke. Sticking with my iPad Air 2. Would've been different if it ran desktop OS like surface pro runs desktop OS.

Apple is now accepting orders for the iPad Pro, both through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app. The first iPad Pro online orders will arrive on Friday, November 13 when one-day shipping is selected, and Apple's site is also listing the tablet as available for purchase in many retail stores beginning today.
The Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard will not be arriving until late next week and are not available for in-store pickup at the current time.
Logitech's CREATE Backlit Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro is available in stores beginning today, however, for $149.95. Apple is advertising the keyboard right alongside the Apple Pencil and its own Smart Keyboard. Logitech's keyboard was designed with input from Apple and it is the first third-party product to use the device's Smart Connector port.
The iPad Pro is Apple's new flagship tablet, measuring in at 12.9 inches diagonally. It includes a Retina display, a four speaker audio system, 4GB RAM, and a set of dedicated accessories, the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.

I'm sorry, but the pricing is ridiculous.
The 128GB iPad Air 2 is £559.
The 128GB iPad Pro is £799.
That's £240 more!
Compare to the MacBook Air:
The 128GB 11" starts at £749 and the 128GB 13" at £849. Just £100 difference.
The iPad Pro should have been £699. It's very overpriced, sadly.
It's this kind of penny pinching that is chasing all new Apple products to flop. It's why we have no Apple Watch sales figures, terrible Apple Music figures and plummeting iPad sales figures.
Love the iPad Pro, but this is madness.
um, you made the claim, I asked for proof. I'm not doing your research for you. You'll need a standardised Apple device for say 3 years, along with the 3 years of the US and UK prices, and the exchange rates, along with the applicable tax regimes applying at the times.Examples? Compare $ vs € 2-3-4 years ago. Compare the prices. You don't need any example, coz there is only one + logic.
Hey. I don't care if it's five minutes. It's sloppy. And no, it's not unprecedented -it's the kind of gaff Jobs would have thrown a tantrum and fired someone over.Um, they're coming 5 days after the iPads. That's hardly "without pencils", and it's hardly unprecedented.
All stores in Northern VA.did the web show that the pencil was unavailable for pickup?

Oh i'm in tears (with laughter) Only $165 for the Apple Pencil in Australia!
$1699 for the 128GB Cell version.
What a joke.

(plus, it's against the rules on MacRumors)
Anyone know of a pouch from third party that would fit the Pro for the time being? Not sure I want the Apple silicone case and smart cover, they are expensive, and I wonder about the cover eventually wearing the finish as the magnets snap on and off?
I suppose something like a 13inch notebook sleeve would hold it more or less for the time being?
Your comparison to the MacBook Air makes no sense. The difference between the base 11" and 13" models is only a hundred because internally they are identical. Same CPU, RAM, storage, etc. You're only paying for a larger display. The iPad Pro has a much faster CPU and twice the RAM of the Air 2, to go with its larger display that is also more advanced to cater for the Pencil. I'd say that's more in line with comparing a base 11" Air to a 128GB 13" with the BTO RAM and CPU upgrades.
I'm starting to think it's more like a law of physics. Unless you were going for ironyShould you not have had a comma after 'gramma'?![]()
