I don't think someone has to be home, however it is at the FedEx driver's discretion whether he leaves it or not. Last year, I had a note stating that the driver didn't see a safe place to leave it so I had to go pick it up at the hub later that day.

‘How much does your package weigh?’

‘What color is the fedex/ups box?’

‘Will the delivery guy have a mustache or goatee?’

‘How fast will the truck be driving as he enters my neighborhood with my iPhone 11?’

‘What type of tape will be used on the package, scotch or duct tape?’


I haven’t ordered a new iPhone since the 6s but decided to buy the iPhone 11 pro. Scanning these boards have been entertaining to say the least. :) (I used to partake in the shipping madness too)

I totally think you are right. There are a lot of models for the pro & pro max available for 9/20 delivery on the AT&T site. I think a good majority of people could just go to an AT&T store or Best Buy this Friday and walk out with a pro, no preorder necessary.

I agree with you. I think the fact that there were so many options of phones and colors just made it so that there would be some form of the phone available for walk-ins on launch day.

Man I ordered my at 7:45 ET (thats what shows in my order status page) and I'm still "In Progress" while every one else is "Preparing to Ship". LMAO

My first order is still “In Progress”. My second order, made hours later, is “Preparing to Ship”

All will be well by Thursday...tracking #’s for everyone!! :D

Yeah it just makes me giggle. I somehow got to preorder before preorders went live and it went through and got all my confirmation emails and I'm still at "In Progress". I personally didn't/don't expect to see any change until Thursday. I just saw some people in here getting an update.
 
Has there been anyone with a 9/26> date that has moved to preparing to ship status yet?
 
So question. My iPhone X is completely paid off. it asked me if I wanted to trade in my phone in to get the 11, which I don't want to. am I going to have to trade it in?

Nope. You now own that phone and can do whatever you want. You never HAVE to upgrade. :)

well I pre-ordered the 11 but im not giving my X up for it lol I just don't want them to charge me anything extra besides the sales tax lmao

The thing is, I didn't even realize it was before 7am (central). I woke up logged in and pre-ordered and went back to sleep. I noticed when I woke up and saw my order confirmation saying that the order was placed at 7:45:06am ET. I was then like OH hey I got it preordered before the opening. LOL

The order was placed on my iPad Pro.
 
Come on AT&T!!!!! Let's move it. :)
