Mah. That was the touch tone version.Ah, I got it now: That means that rotary dial phone in my parents house when I was a kid was also a “PRO” device.

Not really. There’s more than enough out there to prove that statement not true, taking all shooting scenarios into account.
Pro will likely refer to the price which I'm becoming increasingly certain they will raise. :-(
Not going to happen.
If it really will have the “pro” moniker, I expect it’ll have the biggest screen on an iPhone yet, pencil support and usb-c to plug-in a monitor or keyboard or external storage.
It’d be actually cool to be able to start typing a document in word during the commute to work, and once at the office plug in a keyboard and monitor and keep going....for someone who uses primarily excel, word and emails it’d be actually a decent laptop replacement, if the iOS version of the Microsoft suite gets some improvements to bring it closer to the MacOS counterpart.
Why not? Apple is rewarded by its mindless customers who automagically fork over double or triple the price for something labeled "pro". This makes total sense and Apple will make a killing off narcissistic, self-obsessed people who are defined by their shiny "pro" objects.
Apple is capitalizing on your collective stupidity and you are all letting them.

Is this seriously a surprise? Doesn't take a genius to follow the decimal numbering system. 9, 10, 11... etc. Coinx can count. Great.
Where's the $1000 stand for the $1500 Pro Phone?
Apple produces the most accurate colors and the best videos. Can google produce good videos? Taking one scenario as the entirety of the possible ways to use the camera is a bit biased.Does Apple have anything that can rival NighSight? Low light images is a big deal, if Google is doing this via software why has Apple not ceased the opportunity? If Google is doing this via hardware, again why is Apple unable to deliver considering they are commanding a higher price for a premium device.
I am not taking sides, all I am saying is that if you are going to demand the price then deliver the goods.![]()
With the same grid of icons it had for the past 11 years
Yes, but I’d be happy to upgrade this year if we could get some real upgrades like 8gb of RAM and not just that same phone with a new name and an additional camera. People always ramble on about how iPhones require less RAM because they intelligently monitor background apps... BS. They close apps I’m currently using when I try to multitask with two power hungry apps. That’s not intelligently monitoring jack. That’s irritating to people who try to get a lot out of their device. It’s fricking 2019 and we still can’t effectively multitask with an iPhone. I’d be happy to pay a “pro” price tag if we could get some premium hardware.Staying on my iPhone X from 2017. Will upgrade to the 5G iPhone 12 Pro in 2020. I'm sure there are many people on here with the same thought.

Why do you care how people spend their money? Such hyperbole, tsk, tsk.Why not? Sounds like a commercial for women hygiene products
Pro = productivity.
Not professional.
Will be it at 1890$?The only thing “Pro” about this year’s iPhone is the price.
